My mother left The Rookery to go into a nursing home as she needed one to one care. it was very sad for us all as The Rookery staff were like a "second family" to us. My mother was only there for 6 months, however, over that time her care was second to none. It was a very sad day when she left. Thank

The care and love given to my mother during her short stay at The Rookery was extraordinary, the staff went over and above to ensure Mam had everything she required. Family members were made welcome as soon as they entered the home. I can't praise the home and staff enough. I highly recommend The Rookery,

All the staff are dedicated and do their utmost to get to know the residents. During my mother's stay, they all made her feel welcome and she soon started to join in with activities. While my mother's health deteriorated, all the staff were very supportive of us and her and kept us informed. I am so

We are very happy with the care our mother receives. She has only been at The Rookery a short time, but all staff have welcomed her, taking care of her every need sensitively. They provide a variety of activities and take time to interact with Mum, which has helped her settle with the change. Staff
are also supportive and very helpful towards family members, reassuring and keeping us up to date. Thank you to The Rookery for helping to make a painful time for us as a family more bearable.

Overall pleased with the care my mother receives, although there have been days where staff shortages make the high standard of care difficult to achieve. The staff go that extra mile and I can see they really care for my mother and her welfare.

My nan has changed here for the better. Settled in lovely. The staff are fabulous. Would normally avoid coming to these places but look forward to coming here, to see nan that is, not me personally - though when the time comes I'd be more than happy.

I have two relatives at the home - one has been there for over a year and one for nine months. My wife and I visit at least three times a week. All the staff are excellent and are very observant, very caring and very understanding. There is always some activity for the residents and all staff attend
to each residents needs. The rooms provided are of a good standard and cleanliness is of a high standard. The food is particularly good. I am not able to find any fault - a wonderful home.

My nan came to The Rookery over a year ago. As a family it was the hardest decision we ever had to make. Why we worried and lost sleepless nights I don't know, the staff in the rookery from the pink ladies to the ladies in red to the carers to the cooks, every single one of these ladies and gentlemen
go above and beyond their job, nothing is ever to much trouble.
As a regular visitor to this home these people have always made us feel welcome and never uncomfortable, we're made to feel like we're visiting my nan's home, not a care home. The most important thing is my nan is always happy and she loves all the staff, plus she has people to chat to all day long in the friends shes made at the rookery.
The staff here, each and every one of them, needs a huge pat on their back and their managers and families should be proud of the lovely caring people they are. Thanks to all their hard work my nan is now in a happy and safe environment and we as a family can't thank them enough.

My aunt has been a resident since February 2017. She has dementia. I have looked after her myself for 10 years, plus working. The time came when it was in her own interests to become a resident at The Rookery. She has settled in wonderfully. The staff and the running of the home is exceptional. I'm

The Rookery is a pleasant, well-run facility, especially catering for patients with dementia.
The rooms are bright and airy, most with private facilities.
Activities include art and craft, bingo, film shows, church services, gardening, games like darts, skittles.
Special evening entertainment is
included at regular intervals, to which family members are always invited.
Residents are encouraged to participate in all activities.
The menu is varied and changes on a two-week rota.
Food is tasty and attractively presented.

I visit my mum at The Rookery almost every day. I feel she receives care of a very high standard, any medical needs are addressed promptly and of late, she has had many of these. I also feel like an integral part of The Rookery joining in events whenever possible, helping to provide entertainment for

Whenever we have gone, the residents seem very happy and cared for. My aunty is very happy there and is always clean and well dressed.
There seems to be a lot going on to entertain the residents. The carers are very friendly and helpful.
