Although we no longer have our own designated mini bus, we share one with two other care homes in close proximity, Abermill and Parklands.
Thank you for your review, we value all feedback as this helps us to improve our service where required. We are very sorry that you have had cause for concern. Please be assured we have a monthly activities programme as well as a weekly timetable which is devised in conjunction with Residents, although we do not currently have a Wellbeing Coordinator. Your Mother does occasionally take part in activities but mostly declines and as requested, we do have some photographs. Having reviewed the daily rotas for the past weeks, these are correct however sometimes when staff are sick we cannot always cover the shift. Staffing levels are set according to Resident dependency and occupancy and as there have been some staff changes in Church View, we are currently recruiting into these positions. We hope you are reassured that the happiness and wellbeing of all our Residents is of paramount importance to us. Going forward, please do not hesitate to liaise with home management with any concerns you may have so that these can be immediately addressed.

It is heart-warming to hear that your mother is content and feels well cared for, the wellbeing and happiness of our residents is of paramount importance to us. We provide a great range of daily activities for our residents and welcome loved ones joining in. Some activities include painting, dancing, singing with the choir and we access a local put to socialise with the community. Thank you for highlighting this area, we have now placed a board at the front of the house with pictures of activities provided which residents have participated in to share with their visitors and to help them to recall their participation in a supportive manner.

We are very sorry that your experience with us has not been what it should be, we hope you will notice the changes and improvements made. Your Grandmother regularly takes part, occasionally with assistance and sometimes without; there is a collection of photographs in her room to reflect these activities. Our menus have recently changed to 4 weekly menu cycles devised by our hospitality team to ensure our Residents nutritional needs are met using quality ingredients. We have taken on board the suggestion of brown bread and have now included this within our weekly deliveries. Due to maternity leave, we are currently recruiting and we have newly appointed a Deputy Manager due to the promotion of the previous Deputy. You are welcome to liaise with the Home Manager for any support or advice you may need, we are always happy to help.
Thank you for your review; we value all feedback as this helps us to improve our service where required. I have reviewed our daily rotas over the past few weeks and there has been no evidence to show that we have been understaffed at any one time. We staff the Home within company policy; staffing is based according to Residents needs and the number of Residents at any particular time; this is reviewed regularly by management. There are some staff changes within Church View due to maternity leave and we are currently recruiting for these positions. In conjunction with our well-being coordinator, we have compiled and printed some photographs of activities your stepmother enjoys and participates in which you are welcome to view. A monthly planner of activities, discussed with Residents, has been devised and will imminently be in place. I hope you are reassured that the happiness and wellbeing of all our Residents is at the forefront of all that we do. Please do not hesitate to liaise with Home management should you have any concerns going forward.
