This friendly home offers many areas for residents to relax and socialise with friends and family. I am happy here at The Birches Care Home. The staff and service are very good I have no complaints. I enjoy the activities. The staff are very good I have no problem with them. The staff assists me well and provides me with support when I need it.

The care I have received has been first-class. The attention to detail (the small things that are much appreciated) is excellent. The environment is both comfortable and efficient. The meals are of high quality, and the chefs are very good regards to the flavours and varieties provided. An atmosphere
of stimulating entertainment is evident to prevent boredom - much appreciated. The support of all branches of the staff has gratefully aided me during my stay. Thank you all.

Mum went to her grandaughter's wedding on Saturday 4th November.
All the staff pulled out all the stops to get Mum ready for the big day.
She got her hair and makeup and nails done.
Taxi with one of the staff to the venue. This particular staff member was so good for the whole day.
Mum had a great

Mum moved into The Birches on 16th October 2023. She has settled in very well in these three weeks and is happy.
She is well cared for, and has enjoyed the activities and her room is lovely. Staff are very warm and caring. Our requests and questions have all been answered quickly and to our satisfaction.

I have always found the staff warm and welcoming on my visits. I have witnessed their care and compassion for the residents. The home is always clean and the art displayed, done by residents and also the varied activities and entertainment put on.

My dad's time in The Birches was not very long as he was rehabilitating after a spell in hospital. He experienced good care and attentive treatment from the staff. Everybody was friendly and cheerful throughout his stay. There was an outbreak of covid during his visit, which limited mobility around
the home, but this was managed very well. The food was good.

Overall, my dad has a very positive experience living at The Birches. He is well looked after and enjoys a good relationship with the staff. I have found the staff to be very caring and always try to understand my dad's needs. He especially enjoys trips in the minibus and sitting in the garden in the
sun. They are managing the Covid pandemic very well, and I have confidence in their ability to keep my dad safe. The home s very well managed to achieve high standards, and at the same time, be a friend and homely environment for residents.

The Birches care home is very nice. My sister says she is quite comfortable here and the staff are very nice, very pleasant, very friendly and they look after her very well. As for me, I think the home is lovely and the staff are very kind. They always take care of me when I visit and they don't ignore
me. They are very pleasant and I will strongly recommend the Birches care home to other people.

My mom has resided here since August 2019, when we agreed she needed 24-hour care. Since then, Mom has had no medical or care issues, and I know she is well cared for. Covid was difficult for every care home, but The Birches tried hard to facilitate visits throughout all the rule changes. I have peace
of mind with Mum being here and visit every week. Thank you, Birches staff; you're great!

The manager and staff are always polite and proactive no matter how busy they are, they are always patient. As I live a long distance away from the home visits are not as often as I would like, but I know that my mum is being very well looked after. It was mums 90th birthday last week and the staff
made such a special effort to make her feel appreciated. We are very pleased with the standard of care provided.

My gran has been a resident for almost two years, and unfortunately, has dementia, but has been looked after with love, care and dignity. The staff are amazing and have coped amazingly with her and her behaviour and especially during this pandemic. We are kept informed at all times of any changes, and
