Hastings Court

My gran stayed at Hastings Court on two different occasions, once after a fall and again a year later for end of life/palliative care. She absolutely loved Hasting Court, the environment, the atmosphere, and most of all the amazing dedicated staff. She loved joining the variety of activities, the lovely food, and feeling at home with friends. Her end-of-life care was outstanding, being treated with dignity, love, and person-centered care by the dedicated staff who worked around the clock.

The care staff are really good. The activities team are fantastic at keeping residents' spirits up during Covid-19. Can't recommend Hastings Court highly enough.

One of a series of one to one visits with my dad who is at Hastings Court temporarily whilst recovering after a fall. Meetings are short but well organised to cope with the current covid19 measures. He is happy at the care home, but looking forward to returning to his own home as soon as practicable.

Excellent care, good communication. I have been continually impressed by the quality of care and compassion given by the staff. I cannot thank them enough for the care my father receives.

Wonderful caring, loving and efficient care home. Great attention paid to individuals personal preferences. food excellent and imaginative and pleasant accommodation. An enormous effort made to entertain residents whatever their needs. Excellent bistro for socialising and meeting visitors. I cannot fault it.

I cannot speak highly enough of all the staff and the way in which they tackled a challenging time.

Hastings Court has provided an excellent level of care for my mother. The dedicated staff ensure that the best standards are met and often exceeded to ensure that she is kept happy, healthy and safe. I would recommend Hastings Court to anyone regardless of their needs, as they have suitably recognised and adapted to the needs of my mother, whose progressive onset of dementia took hold over a period of time. I am glad that we chose Hastings Court in our search for a suitable setting for my mother, and I am grateful for the excellent service they provide.

I have very high regard for the staff and service provided in Hastings Court and would not hesitate to recommend it. The activities staff work very hard to keep the residents occupied and entertained.

Mums words: I feel safe here, everyone here is so welcoming and kind. I can come and go as I please; food is lovely.

Family: There is a reason why were are paying for Mum to stay here! Best home in the area, all staff smiling and can't do enough to help. My son loves the free banana milkshake! Personal touches all round: Fabulous place.

I have been a resident since November 2019. The care I have received has been exemplary. The care home is a new build boundary, so it is well equipped and spacious. The activities team arrange all kinds of events to ensure the residents social needs are met. I thoroughly recommend Hastings Court care home.

I could not fault the care I received in my short respite stay. Quite impressive. Obviously I was in much pain with my knee replacement and effects from tablets so I could not enjoy all your facilities. But what I saw on my walks on my crutches along the corridor, I could see how lovely it all looked.

As an experienced carer, I have working in many Homes but have never been in such a lovely place. Nothing is too much bother, everyone is nice and caring. Surroundings are homely and relaxing. Well done to all who work here it is amazing.

It was so kind of so many of the staff team, to work on Christmas Day to make it so lovely for the residents.

I came unexpectedly to see one of the residents, and I can honestly say I haven't seen him so happy for a long time. He told me the care provided and the friendliness of the staff were all excellent. From what I saw (and I used to work for solicitors so have seen many residential homes) this home is well run and provides a happy, relaxed atmosphere.

Highly recommended. Loving care, clean room and good variety of food. Staff go out of their way to please. In the bistro more savouries and fruit selection.

Since my wife moved in a couple of months ago, we as a family have been impressed with the whole package of care, facilities and activities shared by everyone at Hastings Court. My wife settled in straight away and seems very much at home. Thank you to everyone for the support and care offered to noth my wife and myself.
