Hastings Court

I don't know how to express my gratitude to all staff at Hastings Court. I could have two weeks respite care from my elderly parents and go away on holiday knowing they had the best care imaginable in a home from home experience. They thought they were in a 5-star hotel!! Every care in detail is given to the decor, nursing and day to day care and the kindness throughout. The loving goodbyes they were given when they left were so considerate and I know my parents would happily return in the future.

My mother-in-law went into Hastings Court for respite in February and decided to stay as a permanent resident in May. We now all feel part of a large family with the staff and other residents. It has a really good feel about it and I go most days, sometimes twice a day, and I have observed the staff to see how they are when they're with the residents and I can honestly say they are spot on. They have meetings most days to see how new residents are settling in and how residents that have been there long term are doing. The night staff go round hourly to check all the residents are safe and well. Just knowing that my mother in law is safe, happy and well looked after 24/7 has taken a huge amount of stress of all the family and we can't recommend the staff and Hastings Court highly enough.

I would really recommend them for their friendly and caring environment.

The home itself is kept clean to a high standard and is comfortable and lovely.

I viewed several care homes before Hastings Court but as soon as I walked in I felt that this was the place for my Mum. We call it 'The hotel' because it is like a 5-star hotel in every way. Nothing is scrimped on and the family are supported as well as the resident. I cannot say enough good things about the staff, the rooms, the facilities and activities. Our family is so relieved that Mum is now safe, content and so well looked after.

Very impressed with caring staff and facilities at Hastings Court. My mother's health has improved more than I thought possible, for which I thank her carers so much.

My wife was very well cared for during 3 weeks for respite. The staff were attentive, respectful and loving so that my wife felt generally at ease. She always looked forward to returning home and her mental condition seemed to be markedly improved by the end of her stay. Many thanks.

Wonderful home with lovely staff. The home is beautifully presented with themed decorations, a cinema room and relaxing reception area. It does not feel like a care home.

My mother was a resident in Hastings Court for three years. The accommodation and facilities are first class with a coffee bar and cinema. Daily activities including films and games and entertainment are organised daily and advertised in local new sheets. Staff are excellent, properly trained and ever helpful. When my mother was dying she had constant attention, holding her hand and comforting her - absolutely excellent treatment.

My nan has been at Hastings Court for over 3.5 years. Each time I visit I can see that she is cared for really well with staff that genuinely care about her wellbeing. Always clean, good facilities, staff go above and beyond what is expected.

The facility is clean, comfortable and welcoming, with numerous activities for the residents.

Hastings Court provided the most excellent end of life care for my mother. All members of staff were extremely helpful, pleasant and obliging. The nursing and care levels were very high. I don't think my mother could have come to a better place. It is comfortable and homely, yet feels like a hotel. Thank you so much for providing such a beautiful "package" for people who are unwell.

Staff are very welcoming and most importantly, they listen to my sister and I. Our mum is too poorly to be able to access all the facilities but other residents seem to be enjoying themselves.

He settled in quickly and seemed very happy and relaxed when we visited. The staff were very caring, kind and fun. The food was very nice, good choices, varied menu and snacks whenever you required. We particularly like the free movement within the home to various lounges, cafe, garden, cinema with many activities provided. The home was very clean.

I feel at home.

I have only been here a few days but I have found all the staff to be extremely helpful, kitchen staff go out of there way to accommodate needs. I am very happy here.
