As someone who has written reviews of this wonderful home before now, I feel a need to publicly document my dismay at the recent CQC report. The findings of the report do not reflect the reality of this gorgeous home, which I have witnessed since it's amazing transformation in 2022 when the new manager took over. My father has been at this home since 2011 so I have seen the incredible journey that Ash Court has made in recent years. This home is just not recognisable from the way it used to be. It is inviting, friendly, incredibly loving, utterly professional and led by an exceptional home manager who works tirelessly, is present on the floor and very quick to respond to concerns. I would say to anyone reading this, if you are looking for a care home with the highest standard of care, please don't let this CQC report put you off. The reality is far from the CQC inspection, which I find punitive and disproprtionate. My father continues to thrive at Ash Court. I'm so grateful to them.

When dad first joined Ash Court Care Home I had my reservations as his last visit to a care home a year ago in whetstone wasn't so great. We managed to keep him at his home with carers but he has got to the stage where be needs 24 hr support and I genuinely could not be happier than we are for him to have been placed in such a wonderful care home. The staff are so lovely and friendly and any questions we may have they are on the ball immediately. He is always clean, shaven and the home is so well looked after. I think all the staff and Priscilla do a fantastic job and we are very grateful. Thank you so much.

Since my grandad has been staying at Ash Court Care Home the care he has received is amazing, I really can't fault it. I was very worried when he first arrived if he would settle and manage well but I can honestly say that all the staff and management have been so helpful with grandad and communicate really well between myself and my mother. We are very fortunate that grandad has found ash court care home and the team of staff he has taking care of him. All I can do is thank everyone for all that they do!

We as a family are so pleased to pick Ash Court to look after Helen. The staff were fantastic helping Helen adjust to her new home, all the staff are very professional - kind they also worry about us the family, there is always activities/days out going on, or if you choose just a quiet afternoon you can. We are always kept up to date with anything concerning Helen, on a whole Ash Court has taken us all in as one big family, all the above is achieved by having the wonderful, kind, professional Priescilla at the top. She is she is without a doubt made for her role in Ash Court.

On visiting the care home this week I was struck by the upbeat atmosphere I felt on arrival. Most areas have been refurbished and are very pleasant to be in. I think this has helped residents and staff to remain upbeat themselves, hence the atmosphere.
I know this must be incredibly difficult to achieve given the daily challenges, massive credit must go to the management and staff for making this happen, real teamwork.

Keep up the good work.

My grandmother has been at Ash Court for more than 10years. The home has always provided fantastic care and genuinely look after her.

The recent renovations have made a huge difference and also enabled my gran to move to a new room.

The home is really well run and most importantly, my gran is happy there.

Having visited Ash Court this week I was delighted to see improvements to the internal of the building creating a bright fresh feel.
The staff continue to do an amazing job in what are obviously on many occasions difficult circumstances.
A special mention for the leadership team, their continued dedication and enthusiasm is vitally important in giving the residents the best service they possibly can.

Dear wonderful Ash Court care team,
On behalf of my sister and myself, and our extended families, I write to thank you for all the care that each one of you has given to our dearest mother, in the last year of her life. You cared for her and for us as her children, showed us respect and compassion in the most challenging of times.
Thank you for all the hard work, professionalism and humanity.
Despite the world seeming to be in a dark place, people like you bring inspiration, and shine the torch of hope each and everyday.
We are working on the next steps, and we will try to fulfill her end of life wishes, to the very end, knowing that she is now caring for us from afar, and so much closer to her loving parents, in heaven.

Warmest regards, and take care of yourselves.

Lovely staff - friendly, kind and efficient.

Recent improvements to the communal areas have made Ash Court a much more comfortable and attractive environment.

The manager is a very cheerful, helpful and effective leader.

My mum receives excellent care. She is safe and well looked after, and it has been a great weight off my mind to know she is in good hands.

A word of thanks to Moise (I hope I've spelled his name correctly) who makes mum laugh - it's a real pleasure to see him work with such good humour and warmth.

My mother in law currently resides at Ash Court Care Centre. Before she moved there she was deteriorating, her mental health (dementia) was in decline. Since she has been at Ash Court she has improved so much, she is thriving, she is happy. The staff are brilliant and the manager has played a massive part in her improvement and is responsible for the happy and positive environment at Ash Court. I am trying to get my mum in there, she has dementia.

I am very pleased with the level of care and attention Ash Court Care Home provides my mother. From the first point of admission we as a family have been reassured that she is welcome, she is seen, her personal choices/prefernences respected. Staff and care home manager have been consistently polite, caring, respectful, reassuring and patient with our mother as well as various members of the family. Our mother is very happy with her new home and would not dream of being anywhere else.
