Since I have been here my care and the carers have been wonderful, with exceptions. The carers have been so lovely, and cheerful, listened to my problems, through my tears and have made me laugh and made me feel important and that I matter. They have looked after me so very well and I truly appreciate
all the love and care afforded to me.

The staff here are very good, pleasant and understanding. They do a good job and my dad is in good hands. They're very nice to me and we have excellent communication and have a laugh too. All the staff here are a credit for what they do and I appreciate their help.

My mum has received amazing care from the staff here. I know from experience can be quite a difficult lady to deal with and at this time she has entered her final days, I can't compliment the staff enough they have such a difficult thankless job to do. My mum has been well looked after and she is really
taken with two particular staff members, thank you so much for caring for her in her final days.

This review is for a carer on the first floor who has been of great help with settling my mum into the home. She continually assured both Mummy and me that all would be well. She always had a smile and was willing to help with Mummy no matter what was going on. When Mummy was not well and the ambulance
was called, she was by her side. She really cares and has empathy for the residents.

I feel profound relief to know that my mother is in the hands of staff who are exceptionally kind, thorough, competent and friendly. Marlborough Court is comfortable, clean, bright and well-maintained. A secure care home with a positive and welcoming atmosphere. I would definitely recommend it to anyone
with vulnerable elderly parents who can no longer take care of themselves.

My mum was in Marlborough Court for six weeks before she passed away. The care and attention she was given by all staff was amazing. Such love and care was shown to her and her final days were so peaceful. I can't thank all the staff enough - having my mum in the care of such wonderful people gives
me great comfort. Thank you from the bottom of my heart - you'll never be forgotten.

Some carers not showing care and compassion, night nurses and carers are worse. Clothing missing that has never been replaced. My husband having to wait 45 - 60 minutes after pressing his call resulting in bed sores getting worse. The food is disgusting, not nutritional, no care in quality or preparation.

My husband has been in Marlborough Court for a year now and seems settled. I have found the staff very helpful and approachable. I have seen my husband interact with the carers, which is nice to see.
All in all, I am quite satisfied with the care my husband is receiving.

A safe and high-level comfort nursing home. My husband has lived in this fabulous home for almost a year and has nothing but praise and gratitude for the wonderful staff team who look after him in this beautiful surroundings.
No problem or small request is ignored, and I have a good night's sleep
knowing he is looked after 24/7.

My mum has been in this care home for 5 weeks. In that time, she has not been cared for properly. The management is incredibly poor and simply do not care. She has had 3 'falls' (that we know of). The last one nobody notified me for 12 hours! My mum's personal needs are not attended to regularly enough.
She never looks like her hair is brushed. Her breath always smells and I do not believe her teeth are being cleaned regularly. Incontinence pads have been left lying around. Her nails are dirty. Staff sit on their phone. To cap it all her wedding ring was "lost". Avoid this place!

My husband has advanced vascular dementia and Alzheimer's. The care he has received has been outstanding - one-to-one 24/7. The staff have also been incredibly supportive of me as I have come to terms with his rapid deterioration and need for full-time care. The manager is very efficient and caring
towards residents and relatives and is well respected by staff.

We arrived at the care home after my husband had been taken ahead of us from hospital. After 3 days he was a very changed man, I had not seen him happy since February 2022. It made the whole family happy. The carers and the manager were very friendly and caring. I can't tell the difference it makes
to us. Every day there is laughter to be heard throughout the care home. A very big thank you for our peace of mind.

I have found the staff very caring, helpful and friendly. The home is warm, clean and welcoming. The rooms could be larger, but the view from the lounge is very good. Management are very helpful and friendly and I would highly recommend this care home. The nursing staff are also very informative.

The staff are all so friendly. Everyone makes an effort to say hello when they go past my mum's room and everyone checks to make sure she is as comfortable as she can be. In one f her first nights, the nurse just sat and held her hand, which gave her a lot of comfort.
