Tower Bridge Care Home

My father was 93 years old when he arrived at Tower Bridge. He had vascular dementia and type 2 diabetes. He had been quite anxious in his last care situation (extra care sheltered housing) but when he came to Tower Bridge he seemed happy and content. Although this was partly due to his increased lack of understanding of his situation, the care and kindness of all the staff contributed hugely to make his last months comfortable, secure and happy.

Mum's care has been excellent. The staff have been great in supporting all her needs.

Very thorough and comprehensive. We were shown all aspects of the facility and were very satisfied.

Mum was a resident for 2 years and 10 months. Both my brother and myself were very happy with the care she received during her stay.

We were shown around with deep care and interest in my father in law. Thank you all for your kindness on day one. I hope it continues.

I was satisfied with my mothers care at Tower Bridge Care Home. The manager at the time my mother was there was very accessible so any concerns would be dealt with swiftly. Some staff were better than others, some were excellent but overall I was happy with mum's care and even with challenging behaviour the staff were patient and dealt with mum fairly and kindly.

My mum is treated with dignity and respect even when she can be very challenging.

The impression I got is that the home is convenient for the needs of my cousin and it's central to her borough, which she is used to.

The staff look friendly and caring. The residents look happy.

The office guides us well and is very pleasant and helpful.

Food is variable, though kitchen staff consult and make changes where they can.

I feel the care home are trying to give my cousin the best they can.

However, I feel my cousin is in the wrong place. He is a stroke victim and should be in a place with other stroke victims.

Always clean and tidy.

Very helpful, they look after mum accordingly to her needs. The hygiene is good. Always a nice cup of tea and cake. Reception staff are always kind and helpful.

We find it clean the staff are friendly and help with any concerns. The food is fresh and varied, Medication always on time. Sometimes short staffed overall relative content and well cared for which is the main thing.

My mother-in-law has settled in well. The staff are very helpful and friendly.

Pleasant staff and professionally led.

I would say very happy with all the care and happy with all staff. Very pleasant and caring. Looked after very well. Thank you all very much.

This young lady has always been active doing her job.

Sometimes there are disagreements here regarding my mum which is then sorted out. Experience is OK.

No comment on activities, mum unable to take part. Overall lovely home and good care provided.
