“We started ready meals with Apetito, and I was not very keen to serve ready-made meals to the residents. Slowly, slowly, we started with one meal created from scratch per week, which was a roast dinner.
We now serve four weekly menus prepared from scratch.
I like chatting with the residents and getting their feedback about the meals.

Natalie has been a qualified nurse for 23 years, although she started in Healthcare 31 years ago.
She has a passion for Frailty and End of Life care
Natalie had worked in care homes for over 8 years in senior roles, and uses the ethos that " She works in her residents' home, they do not live in her place of work".
Natalie understands that moving into a care home can be difficult, as this is your last piece of independence, but believes that when residents move in, their care must be tailored to them and person-centred. She encourages residents to maintain as much independence as they can.
