My husband has been here for approximately 4 years and although we still hope he will be able to return home it is the best place he has been in so far. In general, he is cared for well by the staff and gets on very well with some of them. The staff keep me informed of any relevant information regarding

The home is kept very clean. With mum's progress at each step, the nurses kept me informed and recently mum had a bit of an issue with her health and the nurses dealt with it with a lot of care.

My partner was admitted from hospital to the home to receive palliative care for her dementia. Her condition did improve, for which I am thankful and she would often smile when I visited her. She was well cared for and looked after. I would have liked her to have survived longer, of course, even though
the hospital had already told me she was in the end stage of the illness. The nurses were all very kind to her and always treated her with care. The fact that she improved for a few months helped me, although when she did pass away it was obviously sad.

The management and the care staff were extremely polite and worked with care and dignity. The care staff were very good including the night staff. They provided excellent care and looked after mum very well. The food provided was very good and the service provided by all the care workers was excellent.

Apart from the occasional disconnects between wellbeing staff, nursing staff are residents family, no real problem. Towards the end of the stay, impending pandemic rather overshadowed- dealt with sympathy.
In summary - a very professionally run home.

My grandparents both enjoy the food there. Whenever we have asked them, they have always told us how well they are treated and cared for and this has given us great peace of mind. It is clean and very obvious when you see the place that they take great care in creating a fantastic environment. They

My mother who had dementia was treated with extreme sensitivity and care throughout her stay at the care home. She had been there for almost ten years where she received phenomenal care. The carers have so much passion and love for the residents that I cannot praise them enough. The food provided to
the residents is excellent and they cater to the needs of the resident. The accommodation is clean and it is so refreshing to step into the reception area with smiling faces and always willing to help.

Outstanding care home. The Staff are superb as a team and individual. So much love, care and respect shown to the residents here. My dad has been treated like a King and all staff have been so supportive and kind to our needs as he has reached his end of life. Cleanliness is outstanding. Chef is amazing.
Reception team are brilliant and welcoming. The owner is just so lovely and knowledgeable. So much character surrounds this lovely home. I would not think twice about recommending this to anyone. I hope I can end my days here too.

Birchwood Grange is such an incredible and caring place full of earth angels. They cared for my Dad at his final time and are still caring for my lovely Stepmum.
Truly a wonderful care home and we were blessed to find them. I can’t praise them enough for their compassion and kindness. I would absolutely
recommend them to anyone. They do their utmost to stimulate each and every one of their residents all the time. I have sat in on many music sessions and have thoroughly enjoyed all the entertainment.
