The care home has provided excellent care for my father since he moved there. It was a difficult decision and journey for my family and I, but the staff and management have been extremely accommodating in meeting his needs. They have made the difficult process of having a loved one in a care home easier to accept and it is comforting to know that he is surrounded by such caring staff.

My mother who died last week had been a resident at Birchwood Grange Care Home for ten years. When Avery took over mum went into a nursing unit. The care she received from the staff was first class, she survived the pandemic to die peacefully at 98 years. She was treated as an individual, they loved her staff and doctors alike, and gave me every support towards the end of mum's life.
Thank you so very much for your lovely kind words. Looking after your mum was our absolute pleasure, she became very much a part of the Birchwood Grange family. Thank you for trusting us with her care. We all miss her terribly and your frequent visits too. I am sending my love and best wishes to...
My husband has been in Birchwood Grange for four and a half years. He is well looked after, and he receives good medical care from the nurses and visiting doctors. He receives visits from a barber and chiropodist to help with his personal care. The gardens are very nice and well-maintained. Entertainers visit, also the activities team are on hand to keep residents stimulated, although my husband would sooner watch his own television in his room.

We are delighted to hear how comfortable he is in our care home and how well he has settled in. Our staff team goes above the standards...
My dad has had very good care since he arrived in December 2017, with his dementia condition and resulting needs always met. The staff are personable and attentive; working very hard to keep residents clean, fed and entertained. The cleaning regime is regular and thorough, but the rooms are looking tired and in need of refreshment. Some furniture also needs replacing (my dad's bed broke today). Otherwise, we are very satisfied.

My husband has been here for approximately 4 years and although we still hope he will be able to return home it is the best place he has been in so far. In general, he is cared for well by the staff and gets on very well with some of them. The staff keep me informed of any relevant information regarding him.

My partner was admitted from hospital to the home to receive palliative care for her dementia. Her condition did improve, for which I am thankful and she would often smile when I visited her. She was well cared for and looked after. I would have liked her to have survived longer, of course, even though the hospital had already told me she was in the end stage of the illness. The nurses were all very kind to her and always treated her with care. The fact that she improved for a few months helped me, although when she did pass away it was obviously sad.
Thank you so much for your lovely comments. I am so sorry for your loss. I hope you are doing ok. Thank you for trusting us with your partner’s care. The team are so passionate about delivering high-quality palliative care for our resident, so it was a privilege to look after her. I will pass your...
