My mother who had dementia was treated with extreme sensitivity and care throughout her stay at the care home. She had been there for almost ten years where she received phenomenal care. The carers have so much passion and love for the residents that I cannot praise them enough. The food provided to the residents is excellent and they cater to the needs of the resident. The accommodation is clean and it is so refreshing to step into the reception area with smiling faces and always willing to help.

Keep up the great work.

Outstanding care home. The Staff are superb as a team and individual. So much love, care and respect shown to the residents here. My dad has been treated like a King and all staff have been so supportive and kind to our needs as he has reached his end of life. Cleanliness is outstanding. Chef is amazing. Reception team are brilliant and welcoming. The owner is just so lovely and knowledgeable. So much character surrounds this lovely home. I would not think twice about recommending this to anyone. I hope I can end my days here too.

Birchwood Grange is such an incredible and caring place full of earth angels. They cared for my Dad at his final time and are still caring for my lovely Stepmum.
Truly a wonderful care home and we were blessed to find them. I can’t praise them enough for their compassion and kindness. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone. They do their utmost to stimulate each and every one of their residents all the time. I have sat in on many music sessions and have thoroughly enjoyed all the entertainment.

Thank you to all the awesome staff there!

Birchwood Grange was truly a home for my mother. The staff were amazing providing great care no matter the complication. No care home will ever be the same as home but Birchwood Grange staff did their best to make it a home. Their activities coordinator is best in class and truly distinguishes versus other homes.

I have been pleased with the care, facilities, food etc. provided at Birchwood Grange Care Home.
But at times, I have seen the staff working very hard, long hours and perhaps extra shifts. This result in tiredness which can then reflect on the quality of care.

It would be good if the staff situation can be looked into and maybe there is a need for extra staff available. Values in health care can be included as part of their ongoing training. Thank you.

It is better than Norway. It is more colours here than it is in Norway. We have more healthy food in the care homes. I think it is important with the health, but it is more fun to live here than in Norway. In Norway, you just wait to die, but here you have many things to do and you can have fun while they are here. Very nice place you have here.

Very pleased with the skilled, caring staff who care for my dad.
The rooms are lovely and clean.
There is lots to do for the residents.
It's so nice to take my dad for a cup of tea in the tearoom where it's free.
Lots of musicians and dogs visit - which is great for my dad's dementia.

This is a place with a good heart.

I cannot praise Birchwood Grange highly enough.
My mother became seriously ill one day after admittance and I am so grateful that she is facing the end of her life here.
She has been treated with expert care, dignity and respect.
As for our family, we have wanted to be present to the end and we have been looked after so well by the staff at Birchwood Grange.
They constantly check in with us to check that my mother's needs are being met and they absolutely have been.

Thank you, thank you, thank you.

The decision to place my father in a nursing home was very difficult and a last resort due to his deteriorating health. The staff at Birchwood Grange were very supportive when he arrived there. He settled in immediately and appeared happy and comfortable During the summer, he was encouraged to enjoy time outdoors and attend entertainment and visit the Mandir for prayers. Towards the end of his life, the staff provided excellent care, kindness with dignity. Our family thank all the staff.
