Every visit I have made to Bourne House I have been greeted by smiley friendly staff who have always presented themselves in a professional manner. Sometimes I have witnessed staff having to deal with residents that have lashed out yet the staff have been quick to respond and defuse a tense situation.

Bourne House is an excellent care home for my father. The standard of service they provide my father is very good. Staff are always happy to help in any way possible. Bourne House is very clean all the time and the facilities they provide is very good. The standard of care my dad receives is excellent.

My husband and I visited my sister and found her to be happy and well. Staff are friendly, kind and caring and were supportive of my sister and us during our visit. Excellent standard of cleanliness. Residents were being involved and spoken to at all opportunities. It is very much a home for the residents.

My dad has been a resident at Bourn House for nearly 3 years. Dad has the later stages of mixed dementia, which for the family is like living in a continuous nightmare. The staff at Bourne House are always so kind and caring and I know that he is safe and well cared for each day. Thank you to you all,
it makes this unbearable, ugly disease a little bit easy on myself and siblings.

My father was in Bourne House for almost three years and the carers were wonderful to him. He loved them and they treated him so kindly.
When I say management, I do not mean the manager of the home who was very good.

Over the last year, there have been a lot of changes in our family which can delay me getting to my grandmother. I know that I can trust Bourne House staff to look after her with the best care. I know they treat her with dignity and respect. More recently, she has been on fantastic outings and it's
getting the most out of her time there. I know I can talk to staff with any worries - not that I have any and she will be looked after.

I have been visiting this gentleman for about the last six months. In my visits I have always been greeted well by staff and the manager is visible and easy to engage with. The cleanliness of the home is very good. There is frequent input from a variety of outside sources and the gentleman I visit has
his needs regularly reviewed and this has resulted in appropriate levels of medication and ongoing support. The needs of various residents are quite high and the staff on duty exhibit a great deal of resilience and patience. The home is currently exploring new equipment and technologies to enhance the lives of those who live at Bourne House and these all come together to show the home is well led and constantly seeking ways to engage with the people in their care.

Mum moved to Bourne House on 4th March 2019. We have been delighted with the improvement in her general health particularly her legs which had been a continual issue whilst at her own home due to her sleeping in a chair for many years and refusing to sleep in a bed. However, Bourne House has convinced
her that bed is best!
Now sitting in the lounge amongst other residents has improved her general demeanour. Mum watches, listens and interacts with the staff rather than dozing so much.
Unfortunately, her memory recall of any recent event is minimal but that cannot change; memories of much earlier years still remain.
The food is similar to her diet at her own home, has two choices of the main meal each day plus similar choices for breakfast and supper as well as a variety of drinks; coffee, tea, cordials and water, of course.
The staff are very caring and the management very responsive to any concerns we may have and resolve them quickly.
We are delighted that we chose Bourne House for Mum's care.

I have visited the Bourne House home on numerous occasions very the last six months, whilst assisting a resident. On every visit I have been met by different staff members, all have been very helpful and cheery whilst I am around. Many staff make you feel welcome and nothing is too much trouble. A kind,
