Welcome to Cedars Care Centre in Barnet. This large, detached, traditional home offers 24-hour specialist care to those over the age of 18. The home is fortunate to have a long-serving team of nursing and support staff that provide high-quality, person-centred care within a homely environment. While specialising in Dementia care, they offer long-term, palliative, respite and post-operative care.

The well-maintained home comprises 35 single bedrooms and 5 companion rooms for couples wishing to share, all with en-suite facilities. They encourage residents to furnish their new surroundings with familiar pieces of furniture and personal possessions to make them feel truly at home. They welcome and cater for live in small dogs and cats as well as welcoming visiting pets.
While bedrooms provide a tranquil area to rest and relax, the bright and attractive communal day rooms offer residents the opportunity to catch up with friends over a pot of tea, enjoy one of the guest entertainers or simply recline in front of their favourite films. The day rooms look out over beautifully landscaped gardens and French doors open onto the terrace allowing safe, ease of access.

At Cedars, the team encourage residents to take part in a range of engaging activities based on their lifestyle needs and preferences. Many of the activities take place within the home environment and include garden tea parties, barbecues and arts/crafts. Within the garden, there is a raised vegetable patch offering the opportunity to ‘grow your own’. They empower individuals to enjoy those everyday routines they cherish, whether that’s having a manicure, visiting the cinema or keeping up to date with their favourite football team. All are encouraged and available. Residents enjoy the wider community, with a thriving high street, independent shops and local park all within a short distance.

My mother passed away at Cedars after spending 3 1/2 years there as a resident.
The care they provided for my mother was exceptional.
I couldn't have wished for a better care home.
I live quite far away and was considering moving here, however I felt that it wasn't in her benefit as she was looked
after so well at Cedars.

The Cedars Care Centre is simply wonderful! The staff here are so lovely, and I always enjoy popping into the beautiful garden when visiting for a good chat. Big celebrations like birthdays are superbly organised by all with cakes and fun activities.

My father has late-stage Parkinson's, with all that entails. Cedars has provided my family with much-needed peace of mind for both parents. Dad is treated sensitively and respectfully, and the staff are very kind to my mother's high anxieties. The home is spotless and smells clean - no mean feat, given

My experience at The Cedars Care Centre is always excellent, always feel welcome and have the choice of sitting in the lounge, garden or my dad's room. I am able to bring food/snacks to put in the fridge for my dad. The activities are great. I and my family are able to visit at any time and day - being
the daughter of the resident, I know my dad is cared for, meaning less worry for me than when he was at home.

Mum moved into The Cedars Care Centre just before Christmas. It was such a hard decision to make. All the staff were fantastic, supporting both my mum and her family and helping us to become part of the community at the Cedars. Now all the staff seem to know my mum by name and greet her in such a positive
and caring manner. My mum's wellbeing has improved so much, thanks to the wonderful activities and care the home provides. All the staff from top to bottom are polite, friendly and professional, treating both residents and their family with respect. The property is maintained and cleaned to an extremely high standard and if ever there is a problem it is dealt with quickly.

My aunt was in The Cedars Care Center in Barnet for over three years. While there she had excellent care throughout her stay. The home is well managed with experienced and caring staff, who ensure the resident's needs and their dignity are given the highest priority. The home has a welcoming and homely
feel and I was very comfortable that my aunt was in the best place with her Dementia and mobility issues.

The staff and management of The Cedars Care Centre have been the most wonderful support for my mother (and me) through the last year of her life. They have treated her with the utmost dignity and quality of care. They have provided all this through the enormous difficulties presented by Covid. I can't

My husband who has Alzheimer's Dementia stayed recently at The Cedars Care Centre for three weeks respite stay. I would highly recommend this care home as we found the care my husband received was excellent, the nurses and the staff were very caring and patient with my husband. My son and I are grateful
for the good care and understanding shown to my husband whose behaviour can be difficult at times. The management and all the staff are very kind and professional. Very pleasant and well run care home.

My mother was at The Cedars Care Centre for about 10 months. She found the transition difficult and took time to settle in but the staff were so patient and gentle with her. They massaged her hands regularly which she really enjoyed and they tried to find things that would interest and stimulate her.

Fantastic, kind people. Dad enjoyed dancing, singing and games. He loved the food and was very fond of one of the carers. The carers here really bond with the residents and make them feel special. I was allowed video calls. I strongly recommend this home.

The staff are all amazing, I think they’re just fantastic. With an excellent Manager, Assistant Manager and all the nurses, carers, lifestyle and kitchen staff. They are all patient, friendly and professional. My Aunt lived there for almost 13 years. Phone calls were answered promptly and professionally
