The 79 en-suite rooms are decorated to high a standard, with modern furnishings and fittings throughout. An experienced multicultural care team at the home work hard to adapt to the varying needs of residents, with a focus on delivering high standards of personalised care.

The home has been recognised for its positive work with student nurses and student doctors and has an ongoing partnership with an international college to provide internships for international student medical professionals to the benefit of all who live and work in the home.

When arriving at Coplands you are greeted at reception by friendly and kind staff which helps you as a relative and makes you feel at ease as it is daunting that a loved one has to go into care. It is not easy to put into words how I feel suffice it to say that management, admin, and every single member
of staff who helps care for and look after my husband cannot be praised enough and you can see that he truly benefits from all the help he gets. All the staff are friendly and kind - always have time to talk to you even though they are very busy. We also enjoy a nice afternoon tea on our daily visits. I think it is lovely to be able to say that we feel they are all part of our family, thank you once again to everyone at Coplands for being there for my husband.

I have nothing to complain about except some of wife's dresses is misplaced. I did explain they said they going to look at it. That’s all I want to know thank you. Well, I have nothing to say, just I’m just satisfied with the way it’s except one thing lack of exercise for a patient with an operation
in parts of the body because doing exercises in the room is not comfortable enough to recover from a muscle or injuries.

My father was admitted to the care home in 2022. Throughout his time here he has been treated, with care, kindness, and dignity.
The staff goes out of their way to treat him as an individual.
I am constantly updated regarding any changes to his health.
It gave me great peace of mind to know he was

The staff and the managerial staff are excellent and carry the residence to an exemplary standard that allows for no incompetence from the staff. The staff all work very hard to provide for all the residents and I have seen this firsthand as they care for my grandfather. No matter how his condition
may be on the day the staff will ensure that he eats and that he is clean and fresh and in a better mood when possible. A great thank you to all the staff for caring for my grandfather in his weak moments.

My brother enjoyed the very best of care during his stay at Coplands. Everyone was supportive of my brother, sister, and me, they went to great trouble to make sure that we felt he was safe. I am always impressed with both the staff and the cleanliness of the home and my aunt's room. She is happily settled and comfortable. I am always greeted with a warm and friendly smile from your receptionist and the other carers.

My auntie was here more than a year. She sadly passed away recently. My auntie was so happy and safe in this home. Whenever I visited her she was always presentable, smiling and happy. Her room looked always tidy. She loved activities and all staff always looked happy in this home. Reception is very

My mother was admitted on the 31st of August 2022 in Coplands. During her stay, she was taken care of with compassion and she felt very comfortable. Thanking the staff for the excellent care they provided. Best nursing home in the area, there is no doubt.

My aunt has been in Coplands since May 2023, she transferred from another home.
Admittedly, at the beginning, I was a little dubious about Coplands! However, after a few weeks of allowing time for my aunt to settle, I can honestly say both my aunt and I are absolutely content with everything.
Coplands,
from the reception to the carers to the managers and everybody else are absolutely wonderful, caring and friendly.
The home is always clean and inviting.
With any issues the manager's are always available to assist.
Coplands, well done and thank you for making your home a pleasure for my aunt to be part of.
Keep up the excellent work.

My mum was very ill and unable to walk when admitted to Coplands. Through the hard work of the team and care she has put on weight and can walk now. The staff are all kind and caring and I have had a great deal of help from the manager of Coplands, as she came to assess my mum at the hospital immediately
on hearing that we needed a place for her. The compassion and care and hard work of the staff arranging all the activities throughout the day and celebrating birthdays and cultures means a great deal to us - so thank you.

Job Title: Home Manager

Hi, my name is Babita and I am extremely proud to be part of the team at Coplands Nursing Home as their Home Manager.


After finishing University I have worked in various Care Homes and NHS Trust as a Registered Nurse. Time progressed and I became a Clinical Lead, then Deputy Manager and then was appointed Registered Manager in 2022.


We have built a strong team of dedicated and long serving professionals at Coplands Nursing Home and I still love it as much as the first day I walked in. Its an absolute rollercoaster some days, but I always strive for us to do things better. I have been awarded with Best Manager of The Year 2021 and Social Care Award 2022.
