My name is Jade Shea, I will oversee the running of the 48-bed care home and will be responsible for a team of 70 staff. Prior to starting in this position as a General Manager at Hugh Myddelton, I had 17 years of experience in a care setting. I have been a Care Home Manager for 12 years specialising in nursing care, living with dementia and elderly frail residents. I have a nursing background and have completed my Leadership and management in health and social care. Caring is innate to me and my work ethos is to deliver a high-quality care service and to always be mindful of my workforce to be working as a team in order to progress.

Joining the Team at Hugh Myddelton as a General Manager, I felt welcome by everyone.

Hugh Myddelton has a warmth and good atmosphere. I enjoyed meeting and getting to know the team and the residents. I’m looking forward to managing this home continuing to provide high-quality care and being part of the community.

Here at Hugh Myddelton House, we continue to find innovation and specialise in care planning to meet the needs of the people living in our memory lane community.

Hi, my name is Ebenezer, and I'm a Registered Nurse with 22 years of experience. I have worked across many different specialities. These include surgical, medical, gastrointestinal, orthopaedics and cardiology.

I joined Hugh Myddelton House in 2024 to expand my knowledge and skills in a Care Setting and contribute to providing high-quality care towards the residents.

Hello, my name is Sharon, and I am the Home Administrator here at Hugh Myddelton. I have worked with Barchester since 2014, and I genuinely love my job. I am very passionate, and my aim is to support residents and their families.

I joined the Barchester team in 2020 and was promoted to Activities Coordinator in November 2022.

I truly enjoy spending time with our residents and getting to know each of them on a personal level. Working with the elderly is something I’m very passionate about, and I cherish every day I spend with them. I’m delighted to be part of the team at Hugh Myddelton House and take great pride in my role as Activities Coordinator.
