We found Link House to be a good, comfortable nursing home. Our mother was treated very well by all the staff. Although Mum did moan that the night time carers were not as gentle or attentive, Mum was looked after very well at Link House. Mum developed new friendships with the nurses and the very kind carers. Especially, one lady who gave Mum a lot of time and kind attention. They became friends, Mum trusted her.

I find Link House to be a comfortable, clean and caring environment for my mother's needs. The management and nursing and care staff are attentive and proactive. I would like to see more activities in which my mother has participation.

Seems more organised since new owners took over and it appears there are more staff about, (at least at the times I visit). Staff have always been friendly and supportive of my Aunt and me. Great to see visits out happening now. My Aunt seems happy and contented here and has a good relationship with the staff. She says her meals are nice. Clean environment. Would like to see more comfortable chairs, stools and side tables for the residents.

I would also like to see regular reviews initiated by the home with relatives. I had one a few months ago which was helpful and reassuring so need these on a regular basis say quarterly.

Link House is a lovely, safe environment for my mum, who loves living here. I do think that the chairs in the sunroom are a little dilapidated and there are no seating cushions. The staff are lovely and caring.

The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. They exercise great patience with the residents and are aware of the patient's needs and medication. The food menu is fabulous and there are many facilities on hand.

It would have been nice to have more garden/outdoor space for the summer months to take residents out for a meal or to enjoy the weather. Great home and would certainly recommend.

I am relieved to know that my sister is being cared for each and every day, thus preventing my constant worry about her welfare. If problems arise with her health or her care, I am informed, but know that Link House will deal with the problem. I am welcomed by the staff when I visit and updated with my sister's condition as appropriate.

My grandad spent his last few months at Link House. He had many health problems. I can not thank the staff at Link House for their care and support. They managed to let my grandad live his last couple of months in dignity and comfort. They were also very supportive towards the family. Nothing was too much for them and they always made sure he had everything he wanted. His room was always clean and the food served always looked well prepared. Thank you Link House.

Link House is a very well organised & run Care Home. The Managers are excellent, as are all of the staff & I mean everyone; floor managers, carers, caterers & cleaners. The carers are fantastic, they are all so patient kind & understanding. Showing respect to my mother & all the people living at Link House, treating everybody with dignity.
Everyone is well cared for, always washed, fed & well-dressed every day. Recently, my mother, had issues swallowing & the carers have persisted with careful kind encouragement, she is now feeding herself again, which quite frankly is nothing short of amazing. They really do care for every aspect of all of the people living there.

Link House offers wide range of activities for everyone when visiting you are made to feel more than welcome & can participate in the activities too. I really would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone at Link House, you have made an incredible difference to my mother, who is now so much happier & content.
