Middlesex Manor offers a range of care services within three carefully designed buildings. Care plans are tailored to the needs of the individual and include dementia care, nursing, respite and convalescence care. Care is also offered to those who require palliative care, Parkinson's care and young physically disabled care.

Accommodation features bright and comfortable living areas and bedrooms, designed with comfort and safety in mind. While most bedrooms have en-suite facilities and views of the gardens, all come with a 24 hour call system offering peace of mind. Residents are able to enjoy the large landscaped gardens as well as a greenhouse, herb garden, vegetable patch and tranquil sensory garden.

The chef works hard to reflect the residents’ tastes and preferences in their seasonal menus, making mealtimes an enjoyable part of the home’s day.

A dedicated activity coordinator ensures there are a range of fun and engaging activities available for all abilities such as regular film afternoons, book clubs and painting. Friends and family are encouraged to take part in regular events organised by the home.

As soon as she arrived at Middlesex Manor Care Home my mother was comfortable and felt cared for.
Every member of staff was welcoming and friendly and treated her with dignity and respect. As family we were included in that welcome and were encouraged to come in as often as we wanted.
I felt that
the staff got to know my mother very quickly and were genuinely interested in her life and work.
The administrative side was explained well so we understood all costs.

My mum stayed for a two week respite period. The attention and care given were excellent. It gave me peace of mind that my mum was receiving the best care. The staff went above and beyond. They are very professional. My mum was really happy during her stay.

Care home are doing their best. They keep me in the loop with all the information and any accidents, they inform me. I am not sure my mum is getting enough activities and it would be good if the home had a list to share with family to see what sort of activities our loved ones are doing. Also, I would
appreciate not to involve my mum any religious activities (eg: Christmas, Hindu festivals etc) she has her own strong faith and this needs to be respected. This was addressed many times. Thanks for your support.

My mother has complex needs, yet she has been the most settled that she has been for a long time in Middlesex Manor, this is due to the fact that she is very well looked after by the exceptionally kind and approachable staff who work there. Nothing is too much trouble and they have gone above and beyond
to accommodate her. I have found the communication to be very good and would highly recommend the home as a place of excellence.

My mum suffers from dementia and has stayed at Middlesex Manor Care Home on several occasions for respite care. On each occasion, she is welcomed with a lot of warmth, like seeing a long-lost friend. She is always happy to stay. She is always clean and tidy whilst there.
There are a lot of activities
for the residents and all are encouraged to take part.
The staff are very friendly and caring.
The rooms are spacious and clean.
I always feel confident leaving my mum at Middlesex Manor Care Home and would definitely recommend it to anyone wishing for their family member to reside there whether long-term or for respite.

Our precious mum has spent two weeks here. I cannot begin to thank you enough for the care she has received every single day. The dedication, commitment and empathy shown by the staff on the first floor have been excellent. You have allowed us to have our special times together, giving us the privacy
and freedom to sit out in the beautiful gardens and make some more happy memories. I leave here in the evening knowing my mum has had a good day, is in safe hands and is well cared for. We love our time with the activities coordinator, who has such great energy and enthusiasm and encourages residents and visitors to join along in daily physical exercises either standing or sitting. Thank you all so very, very much.

The Middlesex Manor is the only nursing home I have ever visited and so cannot do a comparative analysis.
This nursing home environment is very clean with a refreshing green area.
The front desk staff are most friendly, effective and efficient. The management team are courteous and cordial. The
entire nursing staff and caregivers are very polite to visitors and very jovial with housemates. The total quality management mantra is continuous improvement. This nursing home service is excellent but must strive for continuous improvement in it's services.

My Nan had been moved here and has been a resident here for some time now. Since my Nan has been a resident here she has deteriorated drastically to the point she is not communicating at all. She’s lost so much weight and has been in and out of the hospital with numerous chest infections. She has also
contracted pneumonia. My Nan has been bedridden for some time now but hasn’t had the correct care. She now has dead skin due to the lack of care. She hasn’t been kept clean. My Nan has been completely neglected in a place where she is supposed to be looked after with the utmost care and respect. I’m very unhappy and wouldn’t recommend anyone to allow their family member to stay here. This is so sad.

I would like to thank the whole team on the ground floor for looking after my mother-in-law.
The staff catered for all her needs even though there was a communication and language barrier. The kitchen staff accommodated with dietary requirements. Special thanks go out to the activities coordinator
who tried to engage mother-in-law in their activities. Thank you to the team for accommodating the visiting. Whilst mother-in-law was here, she was well looked after.
