Living abroad, I called almost daily with questions and worries, and they always responded with patience, kindness, and understanding. They arranged video calls so we could stay connected with Dad, giving us memories we will cherish forever.
I am deeply grateful to every member of staff who fed him, cared for him, comforted him, and treated him with dignity every single day.
Anub was by my father's side in his final hours, and knowing he was surrounded by compassion and was not alone brings our family great comfort.
What we will remember most is not just the home itself, but the remarkable people within it. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for the kindness, humanity, and respect you showed our dad until the very end.
Informed of meeting on the day very happy to have attended they had been no spare seats but everyone from different cultures contributed to the meeting
I derived a little late and given feedback of everything I missed very quickly the room I believed had been modernised I didn't know it had existed but when I used to take my brother outside they had been a snooker table where the new refurbishment now exists.Delightful room and very good atmosphere and a lady who unfortunately had not been able to attend was visible via video call or otherwise I guess she had been very happy.
As happy as I have been.
..... When will I be able to attend for another event I will not be available from June the third for two weeks.
Thank you for your feedback and which we use to better the care provided. I will communicate the feedback to the team, feel free to reach out to feedback@pwhnursinghome.co.uk to pick up on points regarding future meetings. We appreciate the time taken to provide this feedback.
They ask you to bring personal belongings to my aunt's room to make her feel at home, and the lady in finance always assure that we will take n good care of your family and also give information for payments.
They also take out residents and have activities and competitions that include family members. This is a good nursing home and I am happy that we brought our aunt here.
Thanks for sharing this feedback. This enables us to grow and to use the feedback to benefit the support we provide to our service users.
My mother has been at Priscilla Wakefield House since November 2024 and the care she has received throughout has been of a very high standard. The staff are attentive to her needs and always keep me informed of any issues or concerns that arise. Any requests I make are actioned in a timely manner and always with a friendly 'can do' approach. The staff to resident ratio could be slightly better but I can see how stretched and pressurised it can be at times. Overall I continue to be reassured that my mother is being cared for with the best intentions which helps to put my mind at ease.
Thank you for your feedback which is used to enable ongoing improvements to the services we provide.
My uncle moved in to Priscilla Wakefield House nursing home in November 2025 and he is really enjoying the level of care (and particularly the food!). The staff are all so friendly and caring and also welcoming to me as a visitor.
Thanks for the feedback which enables us to make changes where needed. I will pass on the feedback to the wider team. Thanks for sharing your comments.
My mother was really well cared for at this home. The staff built a great relationship with her over time, she felt understood and respected. We had good communication at all times, and any feedback was always actioned promptly. The staff to patient ratio could be better a bit, as I could see how stretched the carers were. Otherwise, this home is a great place for a loved one.
Thanks for your feedback which will be passed on to the team. Every feedback helps us to make changes where needed to improve the services we provide.
I have my partner as a resident in the Priscilla Wakefield House nursing home. She moved in on the 14th of August 2025. From this very date til today, I can honestly confirm that the beahvour of the staff is of a veryhigh standard. I really appreciate this. It is early days yet, as my partner is still new. We hope to see and enjoy more of the good things that they are doing. Perhaps, we could contribute to them in future.

I could not have asked for more for my Sister in the final days of her 96th year.

My brother was extremely happy during his stay there from December 2022 to November 2024. He had built up an excellent relationship with all staff members, and in return they treated him with utmost respect. When it was necessary for him to have outside medical attention, management assisted in his transport to and back from a listed medical centre. He enjoyed the occasional trip in his wheelchair to shops close by.

He told me that the staff 'can't do enough for me' which made him feel wanted and important.
They attended to his needs both medically and emotionally
The staff were also very supportive and communicative towards relatives; I was regularly updated
My uncle very much enjoyed the activities, both within the home and the trips out.
On several occasions Social Services attempted to relocate him but he insisted that was where he wanted to be and end his days.
My uncle lived there for just over a year before passing away which he did with a smile on his face.
I can recommend Priscilla Wakefield House and thank their staff. Theirs is a difficult role which was undertaken with 'care' and a kind heart.

my mother and I are very happy with the care my father received, the staff were very nice and helpful. They always said hello to him as they walked past and made smalltalk which I know made my father happy as he knew he wasnt alone. I like the fact that there are many activities both inside and outside. Thank you too all the staff there.

I just want to say that I am very happy here and it really feels that this is truly my home. All the staff here who care for me are so efficient, kind and above all caring.
Nothing is too much trouble and they do regular room checks to see if the residents are safe and happy. All our needs are catered for so nothing is neglected.
I am so pleased to have made the decision to stay here.

The resident was taken to hospital when unwell. While in A & E a member of Priscilla Wakefield Housestaff, who simply heard him making a noise, rushed up to him (she was in the hospital with another resident) and was so friendly towards him. We realise how much he is cared for, which is reassuring.

These small gestures, like the detailed explanations and the caring follow-up, have left an indelible mark. They truly demonstrate the shared values of every single staff member I've had the good fortune to meet at Priscilla Wakefield House. Having seen the quality of care firsthand, I now have a deeper understanding and appreciation for care homes. I would absolutely recommend Priscilla Wakefield House to my family and friends.
Thank you for your feedback as this helps us to continually improve the services we offer.
The selected venue was amazing, well decorated and fit for the occasion.
Whenever there is Family & Friends invite from the team in PWH, I am proud to tag along mum's relatives to see what entails being a resident in there.
They always come as they know its fun and that mum is happy to share special moments with them.
To see mum clapping and dancing as the event unfolds this is memorable for all parties.
From the organizers (management team & reception), to catering, to the Engineering team, to Housekeeping team, to all staff members who participated all contributed to the unforgettable time we spent that afternoon.
This is why i am taking time to make this review.

The staff provide resident centric care and demonstrate care and kindness to my mother. The home has many activity days and celebration days, and seeks to provide warm and friendly environment. The food appears okay too, and the building is clean.

The home is clean and has lots of activities available to the residents .
It is really thoughtful that they have put something in place for those wanting to park near the home.

He never fell into the elderly home category or the young, he was middle aged, when we were searching for a home. There were not many homes around at that time that had the facilities, modern atmosphere, mixture of residents, multicultural mix, lively feeling and the new feeling that PWH had.
It was perfect for him, he moved in ten years ago and to date, the staff have been all amazing, very caring, supportive, empathetic, encouraging, kind and informative from the top of the Management team down to the house help.
I have never had any complaints and they have helped my brother accept that this is his home now.
Thank you so much for your ongoing support and keep up the good work.
Thanks for providing us with your feedback which enables us to better the care and support we offer.
The staff are very friendly and accommodating. I really appreciate how they let us use the hall for celebrations. Also, the facilities and equipment are clean and well-maintained. This care home is highly recommended.
