Priscilla Wakefield property is decorated to the highest standard with care in the decorative features.
The staff are professional and very caring to the residents and treating them with the utmost dignity knocking on their door before entry and making the time to liaise with the residents at all
times. I would highly recommend Priscilla Wakefield myself, brother and sister thank you wholeheartedly.
I would also like to add that the people on reception are always friendly. Thanks.

Mum is cared for well but I find there is room for improvement. The rooms need to be refreshed and painted. The lounge is horrible and very depressing.
The packets of nappies on display in each room is undignified and could be stored in a better place so as not for all of the visitors to see and makes
the room look like a factory. Activities are sparse sadly and Mum always seems lonely when I come to see her. She is cared for well and is safe which is the main thing I suppose.

We were extremely anxious about our mother being admitted to a care home for her dementia. When in reality she should be with us at home Circumstances led to our mum being placed at Pricilla Wakefield House which we had no control over. Well, all our anxieties were quickly dismissed due to the high-quality
care our mum receives from all staff at the home. They treat her with love, compassion and high-quality care. Mum is kept clean, happy, fed well and given the patience and care she deserves. On behalf of our whole family, we thank you so much.

Very friendly, welcoming staff and a nice, airy room. Mum is well treated and has healed while there. Good food, my mother has put on weight while there.

From entering the reception area, the receptionists are very welcoming to all. All rooms, offices etc are kept very clean and checked throughout the say. There are discussions with heads of various departments and also regular meetings in general and other managers to discuss and sort out problems.

My experience has been amazing. Staff are exceptional, looking after and going above and beyond in any needs the residents have. The home is very clean and very presentable. I am more than happy with everything and would highly recommend to anyone.

Our mother is 96 and had been living at Priscilla Wakefield House with Alzheimer's and mobility issues for several years. During this time, we have noticed a significant improvement in the quality of her care. We feel that the privations caused by Covid-19 has highlighted the positive effects of a caring
and efficiently organised nursing home during these difficult times. Proof of this is evident in Mum's continuing ability to survive and thrive during lockdowns. We can only praise the committed friendly and helpful staff from reception through to laundry.

My sister has been in long-term care at Priscilla Wakefield House. During this time the team has consistently provided the highest standard of care. The staff go about their work in a professional and cheerful manner which has had a positive impact on the well being of my sister, despite her ongoing

Staff are kind, caring, very friendly and make us as a family member, very, very welcome. My dad hasn't long been at the care home, but he seems to have settled in very well. All the staff seem so caring towards their residents and carers seem to love their jobs and show such a caring side. Amazing

I was with my family member (resident) holding a meeting in her room with an outside professional. Unbeknown to the staff, they came in 3 times to check her. I was very impressed. At lunchtime, they (carer) came and escorted my family member to the dining room and sat her up the table and fed her her
meal. Very dignified and caring. Thank you.

The organisation is a fantastic organisation but the management and staff are unprofessional. I personally believe there's a lot of improvement needed, the way staff communication skills are very poor.
