Although the last year has been very difficult, the care given to my mother has always been of the highest standard. The staff have always done their very best to communicate with the family and the occasional small issues that have arisen have been rectified quickly. I would not hesitate to recommend Prince George Duke of Kent Court to anybody.

My mother moved into Prince George Duke of Kent Court in September and her well being has improved immensely. Although 91 years old, she is in good form but does need company and the reassurance of help being available. Prince George Duke of Kent Court has provided a rest of life solution.

Visiting my nan at this time is hard without actual contact, but the safe room they have designed is a great way to be able to see my nan and talk to her. The room is bright and always clean and there is always a carer with her. There is also an area outside to clean our hands before going in and leaving.

What a wonderfully bright, clean and spacious home this is! More like a 5-star hotel than the common preconception of a care home. The professional, friendly and helpful staff under the guidance of the very experienced home manager help to promulgate an air of serenity even when some residents have pressing needs, but nothing is too much trouble. The Royal Masonic Benevolent Institution must be congratulated for this Gem amongst care homes.

I have been well impressed with the care my mother has been receiving and especially the way the carer who has sorted out arrangements for me to visit my mother. I live in Kettering so have at least a 2 1/2 hour drive each way so knowing that when I turn up and the carer is prompt in getting everything sorted so I get the max time available to talk with my mother has really impressed me. I realise there are a lot of residents for the staff to look after so do appreciate all they are doing.

The whole staff team deliver an excellent and very caring experience for my mum. Lots of high-quality care, consistently provided, means that my mum is happy, and consistent with her medical condition virtually all the time. The high-quality care delivered means that her family is happy and content that she is being well looked after.

I have no hesitation in recommending Prince George Duke of Kent Court to anyone seeking a safe and happy place for their loved one in their twilight years.

Prince George Duke of Kent Court staff have been excellent during the Covid-19 crisis. They have worked extremely hard to keep the residents happy and this seems to be working. The staff have been very good at keeping us informed with useful and timely information. The regular Covid-19 updates and newsletters have been great.

My mother is happy and extremely well looked after! My heart sings because I know she is, within her limitations, very safe and settled.

The staff are so friendly, kind and caring and extremely professional, especially in these very difficult times. They have been wonderful in their dedication to keep the residents safe.

The home is exceptionally clean, and there is a very happy atmosphere, all due to the staff’s cheerfulness.

The management and staff are going well beyond expectations in handling the Covid-19 lockdown. Ensuring managers are present at all times day and night to make decisions, residents and staff are protected and remain healthy and happy. A big thank you to all.

The care given to my Mother who is a resident in the home is outstanding. The whole team is caring, thoughtful and very attentive to the residents' needs. The home is extremely well and efficiently run and our family is extremely appreciative of how well cared for Mum is.

We are very pleased with the care being given to my mother. We personalised her room with her own furniture so it is very homely. When the aid bell is pushed, help always arrives promptly. The communal facilities could do with updating which I understand is in the pipeline. The food, however, could do with improvement - "not very appetising" to quote my mother. An exception was the excellent Christmas lunch which was much appreciated. The staff are lovely.

My Mother is 94 and has been a permanent resident since Nov 2019 after 2 previous respite stays. After a warm welcome, my Mum soon settled in and has embraced her new life in Prince George. The home is clean and food good. The atmosphere is welcoming and the staff treat the residents with dignity and have time to chat and engage with them. There is a monthly activities programme and occasional outings and the facilities are good. Christmas was lovely in the home with parties and special events and Christmas morning was buzzing. My Mum, although has mobility issues, would soon tell the family if she was unhappy or had a problem. Visitors are given a warm welcome and encouraged. My Mum particularly likes she is not regimented - residents can choose what they do and go to bed when they wish. As a family member said, it's like a hotel with assistance. After viewing other homes I consider this by far the best and through my Father's masonic connection grateful she can be there.

The facilities and activities are great but most importantly the understanding, helpful and caring staff.

My wife has been a resident since October 2018. In this time her mobility has actually improved due to the encouragement of the caring staff. All members of staff/management work to a professional, caring and compassionate standard. The home run a 'Dreams come True' project for residents. Under this scheme, a day out to Hearne Bay in the home's mobility equipped minibus was arranged for my wife, son, daughter and two granddaughters, together with a carer and a volunteer driver. We met up with a life long friend. We all had fish and chips overlooking the sea. Fabulous day. Thanks to you Prince George Duke of Kent Court. Overall I am very happy with what the home is doing for my wife and myself.
