Throughout May till December 2020, I have felt very supported and heard at all times from staff at every level and from management. I have had to call about my mum due to her needs so many times and always felt listened to and considered. The staff are kind, thoughtful and funny, when appropriate and have kept me going when I needed support. I can call literally anytime and as often as I want and the staff always answer the phone really nicely, patiently and efficiently. Thank you.

Ravenscourt Nursing Home did their very best in the most difficult situation. Mum said the food was excellent. All the staff was so helpful. Thank god my dear mum had a downstairs room, I was able to visit three times a week. I am so grateful to the managers, they were all so kind. They did their utmost to meet my mum's needs.

Organising for my Nan to be a resident was the best decision we could have made. We were so worried about the transition but were reassured by the amazing staff here. She is looked after so much better than we could ever have offered. The staff are incredible, so kind, patient - everything we could have hoped for. All residents are treated with the utmost respect. I wholeheartedly recommend Ravenscourt to anyone - your loved ones will be looked after here!

During these very difficult times, I have been very satisfied and happy with the quality of care that my Mother is receiving. Nothing is too much for the management, the carers and all the staff who are very responsive. I would highly recommend this nursing home to anyone looking for potential care homes. I would like to take the opportunity to thank all the staff at Ravenscourt as they make such a difference, not only to the residents but to their families as we have comfort that our relatives are well looked after.

The care and attention received could not have been higher. The staff were amazing and patient as well as being very professional. They were caring, sympathetic when needed and good company with their sense of humour. I could not have been placed in a more caring home.

My Mother was placed in Ravenscourt in July 2020 after a short spell in hospital. I was not able to choose but had support from a Sister in the Hospital, which I will be forever grateful. The care that my Mum received by all the care team in the home was brilliant, especially under the immense pressure and stress that these times are giving. She was refusing food and medication, but they kept trying to get her to take them. She was exceptionally well cared for as she was bed-bound. Sadly she was given the end of life, and they looked after her with the utmost care and dignity until the end. I would not hesitate to recommend.

I have already recommended Ravenscourt as I am pleased how my mum has been treated, well looked after, staff and management are very caring and any problems or queries are sorted out very quickly and efficiently. It would be nice if relatives and residents could sit out more in the summer as there is only a small courtyard.

My mum has recently moved from another nursing home. Ravenscourt is so warm and caring, it has a really inviting atmosphere. The staff, management, food and value for money are excellent and I would recommend.

My Mum has been in Ravenscourt since October. It is a wonderful nursing home. Everybody is kind, caring and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. The atmosphere is lovely, more like a big happy family than a nursing home.

The food is of poor quality. We bring our own food in. The menu is repetitive. They tend to put residents to bed very early.

I find Ravenscourt Nursing Home a friendly, welcoming environment. Staff are approachable, attentive and always ready to help/respond to questions asked. My mother has settled in well in the short time she has been there.
I know she is being cared for and is happy. I feel I made a good choice when looking for a placement when I chose Ravenscourt.

I am contented in the knowledge she is being cared for and her needs are being met.

I was so happy with the standard of care my mother-in-law receives in Ravenscourt, I then recommended it to another member of my family and my neighbour. I am pleased to say they are now happily living at the home.

Ravenscourt is an excellent care home. Staff are caring and hard working. Knowing my Dad so well cared for, that he was clean, fed and medically supervised, was a relief. It allowed me to have my Dad back and have quality time with him. Staff and management are always very welcoming.

I am happy with the standard of service given. My friend is always clean and has clean clothes on.
My requests (e.g. later bedtime) have been listened to. The staff are friendly and happy to volunteer information about my friend (I don't have to approach and ask).

There are activities laid on but I'm not sure this is daily. Most of the carers engage with the residents although there are a few that do not seem to want to do this which lets the standard down.

Overall I think that Ravenscourt Care Home provides a good standard of care. My mother (the resident) is unable to organise her affairs or communicate very effectively so there have been some issues with lost glasses and she doesn't get encouraged to wear her hearing aids. I'm not sure what activities she takes part in if any. It would be nice if she could get a bit more exercise and sometimes there is a bit of a delay when residents ask to be taken to the toilet. I find all the staff helpful, cheerful and friendly. I am very grateful for the kindness they show to my mum. She tells me they are all nice and that she enjoys all the meals.

Whilst this was a hard decision to make, the management nurses and even the cooks and the cleaners are the most fabulous caring and professional but more importantly friendly, hard working people. I was promised I'd never see my grandparents unclean, uncared for or in any pain and true to their work that has always been the case, as is for all the residents.
