Ravenscourt provides a friendly and warm place for residents to live as full and enriching a life as possible. A range of activities are organised and carried out every week which re specific to the hobbies and passions of the residents. Staff take time to find out what things resident enjoy doing before planning the schedule of activities.

Staff are trained rigorously to become competent care assistants and all have either gained or are studying to achieve their National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) level 2 in care.

Sadly mum came to Ravenscourt for palliative care so could not appreciate the excellent service provided by "team Ravenscourt".
The staff were absolutely fabulous and went above and beyond just looking after their residents. As a family we were treated with care and consideration in every detail.
Felt very happy that mum was getting the best of care at Ravenscourt. Even after mum passed away she was treated with the utmost respect. Superb care.

The first thing that struck me about Ravenscourt was how approachable the management/Admin team were and how they listened to you - resolving any worries/concerns the family had - it is never easy to put someone into a care home. Nursing staff and carers treat residents with respect and dignity for
their day-to-day needs. All the staff were friendly and made Dad feel welcome and went out of their way to assist him - particularly one of the cooks who would encourage him to eat by making him a special meal to cater for his dwindling appetite. We had many a long conversation of what my father fancied to eat. The laundry/cleaning/maintenance /entertainment staff were all committed to keeping the home tidy, safe, and residents happy. Dad was in the home just short of 2 years and I always felt comfortable in approaching staff - I never felt like I was being a nuisance.

My mother has been living at Ravenscourt since June 2024. She lives with advanced Alzheimer's dementia. I will be forever grateful to the registered manager and clinical lead for making the transition so seamless for us. The whole team lead with empathy and compassion. I am especially grateful for the
team on the 2nd floor for taking such good care of my mum on a daily basis. As a clinician myself, I was worried that no home could meet my expectations. Thankfully, I couldn't have been more wrong. I feel confident that my mum is well looked after and treated with dignity, respect and kindness. Ravenscourt have given my family and I quality time with my mum and I couldn't be more grateful.

Ravenscourt is a family. A place for care, laughter and love not only for the residents but their family as well. The care all the staff gave my nan was unbelievable. They took the time to get to know her which meant they gave the love and support she needed when I wasn't
The nurses anticipated Nans
every need and always managed to get her to give them that cheeky smile that all the staff grew to love.
Ravenscourt not only supported nan, but also helped me immensely whether it was a listening ear, a sounding board regarding nans care or advice how to navigate the care system. All the staff became my family and as nans care became more complex their support grew.
I can never put into words the difference they made at the end of Nans life. The respect and care they afforded Nan right to the end meant the world to me. They sat with me and nan, reminisced about old times and helped me through the dark days by remembering all the good times we had shared at Ravenscourt.

My mum was accepted into Ravenscourt in February. Also my Dad has to go into there as well a few weeks after mum. As both my parents have different needs, these needs are being met with care and professionally.
Staff on all levels are very committed and caring. Managers, nurses and HCS's are always
available to help. Would highly recommend.

My lovely grandad was here from January 2024, until earlier this month when he sadly passed.
I cannot put into words the over-and-above care he & our whole family received in his last month. This was a very difficult time for the whole family & three members of
staff along with the whole management & care team just gave their ultimate care and help in this sad time.

This is without doubt a first-class nursing home.
My dad was here from January 2024 until he passed away in August 2024 and was in the dementia ward.
I cannot praise Ravenscourt Nursing Home highly enough. From the management to the nurses/carers and the cleaning staff, this home is outstanding.
It
gave us huge peace of mind to know he was in such excellent professional hands.
We were shown such care and compassion during his final weeks and this has given us huge comfort.
I would not hesitate to recommend this care home.

My mum moved into Ravenscourt Nursing Home in the middle of November 2023. From the first contact with staff in reception and then meeting the manager, they were all welcoming and friendly whilst remaining professional. I felt it was like choosing a house, and this place felt the right fit from the
beginning. Mum was no longer able to live independently at home. So this was an anxious time for the family. I needn't of worried. The wonderful staff made the transition into their care very smooth. They have assisted and been supportive with navigating through social services. This is such a safe place for patients, they are treated with care and dignity. Nothing is too much trouble to accommodate both patients and relatives. All good establishments start with good examples from the top and filter through and this is so evident.
Mum is happy and so am I.
Thank you to everyone at Ravenscourt for your continuous care.

Our mum moved to Ravenscourt nursing home at the end of April 2024. As her nursing needs couldn't be met at home via the local authority, and was advised to search for a nursing home. We looked around and came across Ravenscourt. From walking in the front door for the first time, The manager and her
staff in reception have helped with everything to get Mum moved in via liaising with the local authority. On the day our mum moved to the home, all the staff have helped with Mum transition from home life to a nursing home. Mum has settled well in her new environment. We can't thank the staff enough, and we mean every one of them for helping mum and continuing to do so with her ongoing care. We are very pleased and so is Mum.
Thank you also for making Mum's birthday a special one.

My tour of Ravenscourt left nothing to the imagination. I was shown everywhere, including the kitchen. Following the tour, an in-home assessment was carried out with sensitivity and respect and all questions well answered. Since arriving, every need has been met, including a move to a brighter room
that was suggested by staff, not asked for by resident/family. Every interaction has been positive so far and we look forward to that continuing as our parent settles in and adjusts.

Our beloved Mum was admitted to Ravenscourt at the end of November 2023 after a month's stay in hospital.
We had previously cared for our mum ourselves at home for nearly 4 years and found it incredibly difficult to accept that our mum's needs would be best met in a nursing home at the end of her
life.
However, everyone at Ravenscourt treated Mum and our whole family with kindness and compassion from the moment we arrived to view the home until Mum's passing four weeks later.
We wish to give special thanks to everyone who helped to look after Mum (and our family_ when Mum deteriorated and subsequently passed away.
We will never forget the kindness and empathy shown to us all and we will be forever grateful.

The care, kindness and support shown to my husband by the management and all the staff was second to none.
His condition deteriorated during his stay at the home but he was always clean and made comfortable in the lounge when possible. He enjoyed the entertainment and used to try and join in the singing.
Highly recommend Ravenscourt Nursing Home to anyone.

Mum has been in and out of hospital over the last year and has been really unsettled, we have tried her being at home with carers but she had falls and we were constantly worried for her. Since coming into Ravenscourt she has felt so much more settled and we have more peace of mind knowing she is at
last being so well cared for. It is such a happy environment and nothing is too much for the staff. 100% would recommend Ravenscourt.

Having experienced an incredibly difficult year in 2023 with her health and mobility, my mum spent weeks at Ravenscourt from December 2023 in respite. The staff both admin and clinical are wonderful. Nothing is too much trouble. My mum was intending to return to her bungalow at the end of the respite
period but now realises that Ravenscourt and its staff provide her with a safe and friendly environment to live. At a time when my mum was feeling rather down and wanted to go home, the staff offered her an alternative, brighter room and went out of their way to accommodate her. Due to their persistence with finding out what Mum likes to eat, she is now managing to eat a meal instead of just a few mouthfuls. I'm very grateful to everyone at Ravenscourt.

My mother has been in Ravenscourt since August and we as a family are so happy she’s there. The care she receives is excellent and any worries or issues we have are dealt with in a timely manner. From the manager to the carers all the staff are kind, polite and approachable. Special thanks to two staff

My mum went into Ravenscourt Nursing Home in August 2023 as she has severe Vascular Dementia.
It has been a blessing and we count our lucky stars that we were able to get her into Ravens court. The care is exceptional and the staff are all so friendly and caring no matter what their role is at the
home.
They always communicate well with us and are very approachable and accommodating and take any concerns with have about Mum's health seriously and will do their utmost to help and contact any health professionals that feel can help us.
They make us feel so welcome and like we are part of one big family with them. I would highly recommend this nursing home for anyone seeking top care for their loved one.

My friend came to live here in November 2022. She had a complex personality and medical needs. Ravenscourt has been amazing in not just accommodating her needs but also making sure that she has found friendship at the Home. I can’t praise enough about this place. All cares are so empathetic and kind
that I have myself made friends with them on my visits. They work tirelessly to ensure every call from residents are attended to as soon as possible. I find kindness and resilience just beyond noble. I must mention the food which is well catered for, especially the hot food and freshly made cakes for the evening tea.

Both my parents were in Ravenscoourt. Unfortunately, my mother passed away after being there for two weeks. The compassion shown to me by all the staff was wonderful. My father is being well cared for. The food is really good - my dad has never eaten so much! The nurses are always stationed in the TV
lounge with the residents and are always helpful. I'm happy in the knowledge that my father is safe and his needs are being met.
