Hello, my name is Jibin and I am the Head Chef here at Wilsmere House. It’s been more than 15 years since I embraced the art of flavour. I had the opportunity to work with great Chefs around the world and acquired many skills and knowledge. Some of the establishments I worked at are 5-star Hotels, Fine Dining Restaurants and Luxury Senior Living Homes. I’m a very inspirational, detail-oriented, Disciplined and Creative Chef. I always try to create a positive environment in and around my Kitchen. I pride myself on preparing high-quality food and what makes me very happy is to see our residents enjoy the dishes that my team and I create.
Our hospitality team are committed to providing seasonal home-cooked menus offering choice, nutrition and quality- including exciting menus to specific individual dietary needs and all appetites. We celebrate every one of our resident’s Birthday and my Kitchen team prepare homemade decorated cakes for their Birthday. The beautiful warm smile that our residents give when we present the Birthday cake is our greatest inspiration.
The food we produce is hugely important to our residents which is why it is absolutely imperative that we always get their feedback and continuously meet the needs and nutritional quota of every single resident who chooses to make Wilsmere House their home.

My name is Raluca and I’m a Senior Physiotherapist with over 15 years of experience, 10 of which I’ve proudly dedicated to Barchester. With a BSc and MSc in Physiotherapy, and a background in both hospital and care settings, I’ve found my true calling here—where care is personal, continuous, and deeply meaningful.
I’ve worked with a wide range of neurological conditions, including stroke, Parkinson’s, multiple sclerosis, brain injury, etc. Personally, brain fascinates me—it challenges and inspires me every day! My passion for helping people regain independence is grounded not just in clinical expertise, but in compassion, teamwork, and connection.
I’m grateful to Barchester for supporting my growth, including through their Team Leadership Programme, which strengthened my ability to lead with empathy and purpose. Their values truly align with my own—placing people first, working together, and striving for excellence.
I live by the principle: ‘Love and do what you want.’ As a paradox, true love for what you do means acting with integrity, always doing what’s best without any expectations—not just for yourself, but for the people around you. In a team-driven environment like ours, that’s what makes the difference!
