Staff are very friendly and kind. Good home cooked food.

Bed linen left a little to be desired, but my husband was treated and cared for well and felt as if he was safe. I too felt he was safe, secure and treated with respect and dignity. The activity programme was varied each day.

I came here on a hunt for a non-weight baring bed from hospital. The treatment I received on arrival was fantastic. Everyone was kind and helpful. I was here for 109 days and the treatment I received was fantastic.

The food has been great and I've had lots of cups of tea. I could not think of a better place to start my rehabilitation.

My father has now been a permanent resident for almost two years. He is generally well looked after and has formed a bond with several members of staff. As visitors, we are always made to feel welcome by staff.
Because he is so well looked after, we fell reassured that he is in capable hands.

Staff do a great job in sometimes difficult circumstances. Thank you to you all.

My father-in-law is 100% reliant on staff's care as he cannot do anything for himself, he is normally very happy and very appreciative of all that the staff do for him.
The peace of mind that he is looked after so well, is much appreciated by my wife and I, and allows us to lead as normal life as possible.

Thanks one and all, Taymer you do a wonderful job.

I was sent to Taymer Nursing Home from hospital for rehab, only as an NHS patient but was very satisfied with the care assistance also treatment by physiotherapists and assistants. The "home" menus were varied with choices and one could ask for another dish if they wished. Staff always polite and accommodating.

My mum has only been in Taymer for 3 months and what a difference living in Taymer has made. She is a lot happier and healthier. The staff are amazing in all ways, always ready to help mum in any way she needs. The place is very friendly and homely, the food is an exceptionally high standard. I can't emphasise enough how good a place Taymer is. I'm so happy we found Taymer for my mum.

5 stars.

Overall Experience

My mother entered Taymar for rehab after suffering a severe stroke. She was barely eating, with limited movement and speech. After around nine weeks she had recovered enough to return home. We would like to thank the staff at Taymar, who were always available to meet my mother's needs. The management and senior staff were always available to assist and answer any concerns we had, as well as help plan a path home for my mother. A special thank you to the manager of the home who is superb (as are all the staff), plus a special thank you to the chef, and also to the carer who specifically looked after my mother in the mornings. We would like to thank you all again, and we would recommend Taymar to anyone, your relatives will be well cared for there.

Home from home. Virtually everyone is happy. They are clearly a strong team with superb management, enrolling perfect staff.
Even when busy and stressed they are still amazing with the residents. Nursing care very good also.
Activities superb, my mum loves the singers. Always something great and varied going on.

Not only does the activities coordinator organise this but she keeps the wonderful gardens going.

Review from Carol B (Cousin of Resident) published on 3 April 2018 Submitted via Postal Card
Overall Experience

In November 2017 my cousin went into Taymer Care home aged 89 years. This was a huge lifestyle change as she had up to then lived independently with help from her daughter. She has quickly settled into Taymer, helped by the lovely friendly feel it has and wonderful caring staff. There was a really good programme of events for them over Christmas which my cousin enjoyed taking part in and also New Year celebrations. There is a good menu with freshly prepared meals. This is a really lovely home to be part of. I am a regular visitor to see my cousin and enjoy the time I spent there.
