Right from the beginning of my partner's stay, the staff were so welcoming, friendly and kind. They could not do enough for my partner, who was the youngest resident. Anything we requested was found, given and more. The food, cleanliness, facilities and all were great. All the staff on whatever shidt/s

My mother stayed at Taymer Nursing Home for rehabilitation following a knee operation. She was well looked after by staff. Both management and staff were very good and thoughtful. The food was excellent She was rested well to enable her to return home to continue her rehabilitation.

Wonderful, friendly and helpful staff. Nothing is too much trouble.
The food is good and plentiful.

My brother was diagnosed as at 'end-of-life' when he entered Taymer Nursing Home; a nursing home in the village where he had lived for almost fifty years. From the first day he was given full attention, made as comfortable as possible, given great nursing and, most importantly, treated as a human being.
Taymer gave me a sense of relief knowing he was in a happy, comfortable home receiving good care. I was kept updated with his progress, important as I live over three hours away, they were very kind and supportive at his end. I have nothing but praise for all the staff and the way the home is run.

We regularly visit an old friend who is a resident at Taymer Nursing Home. The care staff and manager are always very welcoming. The care given to our friend is very good - as we notice and she reports to us. She also praises the food! During the covid pandemic, the staff were not officious and did
their best to enable visits. The only regret is that our friend's mobility has decreased significantly. Her room is pleasant with a nice view of the garden - but is quite small.

The staff are excellent, all very caring. They have kept us up to fate with the care that has been given to my mum. The staff have been very understanding of my mum and all that she has been through. I would highly recommend the Taymer Nursing Home.

I cannot fault the care my step mum received at Taymer Nursing Home. Unfortunately, she was end of life when she transferred from hospital to the nursing home but the care she received was fantastic. The staff could not do enough in her last week of her life, together with supporting her family at a

My father was transferred into Taymer Nursing Home in Silsoe from hospital, following five weeks of hospital care. He was placed into the home as part of his rehab care after four weeks of excellent care at Taymer.
All the staff working at Taymer could not have made his stay any better and if his return
home and carers attending proves too much for Dad I would definitely attempt to place Dad back at Taymer.

It was such a relief to know that Dad was well cared for at Taymer when we could no longer cope with his needs at home. The staff were very kind and thoughtful, not only to Dad, but to the rest of the family which was particularly valued given the very limited access we had to the home, during the pandemic.
It was clear that Dad was kept clean and comfortable at all times and that the staff were competent to manage all his needs. He was something of a character and not always easy to deal with, but the staff always seemed to remain good-humoured and positive. Dad really enjoyed the activities that were provided and I am sure they would have done more to entertain him, had circumstances been different. He also enjoyed the food, including the lovely fresh fruit salad served every day as a snack. Taymer does not pretend to be a luxury home and the decor is a bit tired, but we were very happy that Dad could spend his last days there.

I went to Taymer nursing home in November 2021 for reablement. The staff were brilliant and I was only there for just over two weeks. The food is excellent, rooms are a bit tired.

I cannot praise the Taymer nursing home for its care and kindness shown to my husband. Everyone was very caring and friendly and I was made to feel welcome every time I visited. The Taymer is just like a normal family home, homely, clean with wholesome food. Our family considered ourselves very lucky
