Staff always provide a cup of tea/cakes.

All the staff are very good.

My husband is a different person since being here. he is up every day. Washed thoroughly daily, dressed and eating. What a difference a week has made. It's meant I can visit and spend time without worrying 24/7 about his illness, falling, self-neglect and safety. The staff are all friendly and genuinely interested in the patients. All are very patient and kind, and respectful to everyone on the ward. The food is excellent. The entertainment staff are excellent. Thank you all so much.

The staff at the Devonshire looked after my husband so well i honestly can't thank them enough, they kept me informed of what was happening with him when it was necessary. Even tho my husband wasn't there very long I can't fault it

The home has a bright and airy feel. Staff on the unit are caring, friendly and compassionate about their work. Food is good, there is always a variety of meals. Carers, nurses, cleaners, kitchen staff and front of house are friendly. I would and have recommended this care home. Family member is very well looked after. Lots of activities and the activity lady is wonderful. Thank you.

Very caring and personal staff who get to know residents and become friends with them. When problems arise, they listen and implement solutions and change. They really work with you and listen to residents' needs.

My wife, suffering from dementia, has been resident for over five years. In that time there has been little change in staff which speaks for itself regarding staff quality and satisfaction. She has been well cared for during this advancement of dementia symptoms. I'm always welcomed with a smile when visiting and care is carefully administered with dedication. Overall experience of The Devonshire Care Home is excellent.

My mother is well looked after in Cherry Blossom community, the staff are very good with her. She has greatly improved since being in the care home. Well done staff on your CQC overall good achievement.

My husband looks physically well and cared for and, despite his increasing mental health issues, shows no sign of distress. The staff on Kingfisher Unit have consistently been welcoming and receptive to any concerns or queries I have had. The food always looks apetising and seems varied. I have had no complaints about how my husband has been cared for.

I regularly visit my father at different times of the day, the staff are outstanding, they are caring, compassionate and respectful. My father was given a few weeks to live however it's one and half years since the prognosis due to the fantastic care which he is receiving. The staff and the leadership of the home says it all - excellent. Congratulations on receiving overall Good to your recent CQC rating.

Absolutely wonderful people, took good care of my father in law during the last year of his life. Kind, supportive, friendly staff. Father in law made some good friends.

My Dad was resident of Peacock Community at The Devonshire from October 24 to March 25. He had advanced Dementia. The care, support and overall experience was excellent.

He settled into life quickly in Peacock, making friends with the other residents, aided by the wonderful nurses and staff.

The food was great, the room and community always sparking clean, and the professional and emotional support provided to my Dad was brilliant.

We were always made to feel welcome when we visited by all the staff who were always professional and personable.

it was evident on my many visits that my Dad and other residents enjoyed life at Peacock, the care provided and dignity he received in his final days were brilliant.

Our family has nothing but praise for the staff at The Devonshire, on Kingfisher Ward. Dad has been looked after like he was their own father. We will always remember their constant kindness not just to Dad but to ourselves.

Generally I have been satisfied with the level of care, bearing in mind the challenges of the dementia ward. There have been 3 or 4 times when I have not been happy. I have addressed it immediately. The room needing partial decoration does not help with perception. Plus what appears is rare deep cleans. Staff are mainly friendly and helpful. But management are hard to find. Food seems average with lack of flexibility to individual needs.
