I first joined BUPA two and a half years ago after managing large pharmacy businesses previously. I absolutely adore helping others and getting to feel as if I have made a difference in their lives. At home, I am kept very busy looking after my two young daughters!
I am a professionally trained chef with experience in restaurants all over the world! My brother-in-law recommended BUPA to me when I was looking for a new role. I love how closely I get to work with the residents and the fact that I get to have a positive influence on their lives. During my free time, I love to host barbeques for family and friends, enjoy both playing and watching sports and spending time with friends.
I first joined BUPA in March 2021 as a care assistant and started this role in December 2021. I previously worked for a large finance company but decided to take the leap into the care sector- something I had always wanted to try. I absolutely love meeting people from all walks of life and doing whatever I can to make residents feel happy and safe. I live locally with my husband and baby and love anything we do as a three, whether that be walking coffee and cake, or swimming.
I previously worked in an office but had helped BUPA with activities. I decided I wanted to switch to a more caring role and felt this combined my office skills with my passion for care. Myself and my family live locally to the home so it felt like the perfect fit. I love my daily interactions with people of different ages, who come from all walks of life and have amazing stories to tell.
I have worked for BUPA since 2018. I was interested in having a career change in the care sector when I applied for the role at St Mark's Care Home. I knew people already working within the care and really wanted to try it for myself, and I am still here! I love the feeling of making a difference in people's lives and I get to meet so many different types of people. I live locally, so know Maidenhead really well, and spend my free time gardening, doing DIY or spending time with my four grandchildren.
Our housekeeping team comprise a dedicated group of friendly and familiar faces. Amongst long-standing colleagues, we have welcomed new members, who are enjoying their experience getting to know all the residents at St Mark’s. The team are dedicated to ensuring a clean, safe and healthy environment in the home. Aside from keeping our home shipshape, these superstars like to indulge in daily chats with residents.
I have worked in the care profession since 2010, at first locally in the community, before joining BUPA around a year ago. I absolutely adore helping people and care is my passion. I live locally to the home with my three children so my free time is mostly spent taking care of and spending time with them.
I was first introduced to care work by my Auntie who also worked at St Mark's. I fell in love with the job role and am still here six years later! I really enjoy the family atmosphere in the home between the staff and the residents. I live locally at home with my two daughters and adore cooking for them and listening to music.
I first started at St Mark's Care Home two and a half years ago. I actually got the job on my 19th birthday! I love coming in every shift and cheering the residents up.
I have been in maintenance for 45 years and have been with BUPA for 20 years. My favourite part of the job is making the residents smile, I love having a laugh with them and making their days a bit brighter! I live locally to the home and enjoy golfing in my spare time.
I started working for BUPA six years ago. I previously worked as a teaching assistant, however after my Nan was diagnosed with dementia I wanted to learn how to support her and others in their daily lives. After doing some research I was so lucky this position became available and did not hesitate to join the team here at St Marks Care Home. I love making a difference in people's lives and adding happiness to their days. I live locally, and in my free time, I love spending time with my family, visiting London for theatre trips and camping.
I originally started as a carer for BUPA in 2016 and worked my way up in various roles to become the Financial Administrator. I love seeing our residents daily and making a difference in their lives. Due to my role, I also spend a lot of time with resident's friends and family which I massively enjoy. Outside of work, I am kept busy looking after my young son!
I have been in the care sector since 2015 and started working for BUPA nearly two years ago. I absolutely love talking to the residents daily and getting to know more about their backgrounds and families. I live just around the corner from home and spend most of my time with my young boys. When they're not keeping me busy I love to travel and read.
I've been a part of the BUPA team for two years now and have held my current position for 6 months. I love my role at BUPA and have found a real passion for making the home run look the best it possibly can, whilst keeping things safe for staff and residents. I have recently become a dad to a beautiful baby girl and spend my free time living life to the fullest with my wife and baby. I'm a local to Maidenhead and love getting out in the area for good food and enjoying motorsports with friends.
I first started working at the home over 13 years ago! I live locally at home with my wife and children and love to spend my free time with them or play football with friends. The thing I love most about my job is connecting with and supporting residents and making them smile every day.
