St Mark's sets the standard to which all such care homes might aspire. Without exception all staff are kind, caring, well trained, pro-active and good humoured. A true team under the excellent 'open door' policy of the manager. The care home isn't perfect but it comes pretty close. Top marks to St Mark's.

A wonderful buffet and entertainment was laid on at the nursing home to celebrate the Queen's 90th birthday. I was particularly impressed by the way all the staff rallied round to make the afternoon such a success, they were all involved with attending to the resident's needs and creating a wonderful atmosphere. I think I can say that a good time was had by all and it's all thanks to the dedication and organising skills of the staff. Well done.

I have just had a lovely afternoon at the garden party held to celebrate the Queen's 90th birthday. At all times I visit, the staff are very welcoming and caring. My mother tells me that the carers are very good. This is quite a compliment from my mother who is very quick to complain if something is not right!

Since mum arrived nearly a year ago I have had nothing but praise for everyone who cares for her in whatever capacity from house keeping, chefs team, activity girls, reception ladies and above all the carers and nurses. Mum's not a text book case and they have all tried to understand her needs and recognise her capabilities.

The staff at St Mark's Nursing home are well trained and have always shown a great deal of respect and kindness to my mother-in-law. Nothing is too much trouble and they are always helpful. There are lots of activities for the residents that were very good and well planned. The home itself is spotless and always smell fresh whenever we visit. I can highly recommend this home.
