Queen Court
We would like to say a big thank you to all the staff at Queen's Court for looking after my mother Elsie, we could not have found a better group of loving caring and kind people to look after her, they have been truly wonderful, to do there job they need lots of patience and to be quick on their feet to avoid the kung fu kicks, punching, bites and verbal abuse and that was just from my mum Elsie. Last year when we started the daunting process of finding a care home and hearing below average reviews of other places it was very stressful for us to find the right one, lucky for us Queen's Court was the first home we visited and it felt like home from home. It was a huge weight off our shoulders and we could now relax knowing Elsie was in good hands. The sending off from the staff when the funeral people left with Elsie was a nice touch. Best wishes to everyone at Queen's Court and again a big thank you.

Thanking you.John and Sheila

Overall the home is very good. Very friendly and helpful staff , great entertainment activities, care is very good the home is very welcoming and the ambiance and gardens are lovely. My Mums only complaint is the food. She does not eat big meals but would like more meat or fish and fresh salad and vegetables and less mashed potatoes. She would also like more tasty food.

Living in Spain it is a relief knowing my Mum is well looked after. Trying to visit every month or two we are always greeted with happy smiling faces from a professional team of carers. Their patience and empathy does not go amiss.

My husband has been at Queen's Court for 2 weeks, so still settling in. Having visited several care homes, Queens Ct has exceeded my expectations, what stands out is the caring attitude and friendliness. Only drawbacks is the lack of social contact on our floor, but my husbands case is complex so that is probably inevitable.

When Dad got dementia, we were determined to look after him at home and dreaded the idea of a care home. However how wrong we were! When we couldn't manage at home anymore, Dad moved into Queen's Court. What an incredible place it is. Not at all what we were expecting. The staff are so kind and the care they give is exceptional. They care so much that when Dad was nearing the end, they even came in on their days off to make sure he was comfortable and was with familiar people. Not only did they look after dad, they were continually supporting and caring for us! Spending time in Queens was a time we looked forward to, as it's such a warm happy place to be. Our family are forever in your debt.

My mother in law recently celebrated her 100th year at Queen's Court.
The staff and management prepared for her the most wonderful Birthday party. Even though my MIL was a bit unsure if she wanted a party, she ended up having a great day celebrating with friends and family and even the mayor.

But more importantly it was obvious to all of us there how much the staff care about the residents of Queen's Court.

Queen's Court is an excellent care home. My sister, who is disabled and has dementia, receives the best of care from all the staff. The manager and her team are extremely compassionate, and always put the residents' needs and welfare first. They are approachable, friendly and go out of their way to sort problems efficiently and very quickly. The manager, her deputy and the rest of her team have created the feel of a loving, warm-hearted and comfortable home for all residents.. It is a joy to visit my sister and meet with staff who care for her. I have no misgivings about Queen's Court. It is well-run, the staff work extremely hard and are polite, courteous and cheerful. Outstanding.
