This beautiful care & nursing home has been supporting the local community of Aylesbury for over 10 years, offering skilled and responsive nursing, residential and dementia care. Residents and their relatives value the Westgate Healthcare family ethos and warm relationships that Hampden Hall achieves.

All ensuite bedrooms are generously sized enabling residents to personalise them as they wish and providing staff with the space to safely support each resident as needed.

Residents have the choice of several charming living and dining areas in which to relax or socialise.

The facilities have been designed to enhance resident care and quality of life, as well as optimise cleanliness and help minimise the spread of any infections, this includes wood effect flooring, hand washing facilities in every room and hand gel dispensers throughout the home.

Following on from a hospital stay my mum needed frequent nursing care which couldn't be adequately delivered at home. She decided that the best solution would be to move to a nursing home where she could receive care until she was well enough to go home. As a result of an excellent personal recommendation
we chose the Hampden Hall Care Centre.
The recommendations we had received turned out to be completely accurate. Mum received exemplary care at Hampden Hall. Every member of staff was kind, communicative and attentive and the facilities second to none. The nursing care was excellent and within a short space of time my mum decided that she felt so much safer as a resident that she decided to remain there permanently.
She enjoyed the many social activities that were arranged by the team and the interaction with other residents as well as having the peace and quiet of her own room with full en-suite shower room facilities.
We can't recommend Hampden Hall enough.

The decision to have our dad taken into care wasn't an easy decision and was taken out of our hands due to personal circumstances. Our dad has now been a resident at Hampden Hall for over a year and he has settled in very well, at the first he tried to escape a couple of times, soon caught and back
to his room. The staff and everyone at Hampden are very helpful, polite and do so much for all the residents not just my dad. He has been made very welcome which is lovely to see and hear especially as my sister and myself cannot visit on a regular basis as we both live so far away. Thank you to the team that has helped us to have a video call meeting every week with our dad, it helps us to see that he is keeping well and so well looked after by everyone. Special thanks to the staff on Pine Unit its nice to see him happy and smiling again in everything you do for him we really appreciate it.

Dad has now been a resident at Hampden hall for 6 months. The decision for him to go into care was not an easy one however seeing him now we absolutely know it was the right thing to do. The staff have gone out of their way to make Dad welcome and feel part of the home. Although hesitant at first
he now participates in the activities provided. Special thanks to two particular ladies on Pine floor for all they are doing for Dad.

Mum was moved in Hampden Hall after a long stay in hospital, but we then decided it was the safest and best place for her to be . Her Parkinson's has now become dementia but she is SO well looked after . The care and love she receives from everyone working there is just wonderful. They are so kind and
keep in touch with me constantly. I cannot thank them enough for their kindness, respect and professionalism with my mum . I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone .

Mum came from hospital to an NHS bed in a very poor state. The staff at Hampden Hall have managed the sores on her thin skin successfully. They encouraged her to participate in the activities, and she is leaving in a much better state physically & mentally than when she arrived.

My dad was at Hampden Hall following a stay in hospital from April to Mid July before being moved to a care home closer to me in Norfolk.
The staff worked hard to tailor the care to his needs and behaviour as he has recently been diagnosed with Parkinson's dementia.
A special note to the member
of staff who arranged for my father to be able to see the live recording of my brothers funeral as he was not well enough to attend - an extra touch that meant the world to me and dad.
All the team were friendly and we felt that dad was well looked after, we were lucky that dad was allocated to Hampden Hall for the initial assessment and then allowed to stay whilst the move was arranged.

The love and care my mother in law received at Hampden Hall was excellent. She lived there for almost 4 years and it was her home; as her family we also felt at home. She enjoyed the varied and interesting wellbeing activities and received great nursing and personal care. The leadership of Hampden
Hall set the tone of respect and care and every member of the team from the receptionists, the manager, the floor manager, the wellbeing team, the cleaners and all the nurses and care staff treated us and my mother in law with respect and dignity. I cannot recommend Hampden Hall highly enough. Thank you to everyone who works there for your care and support over the last 4 years.

Friendly and attentive staff who look after their residents with real care and compassion. There's always someone available to talk to about my dad and it's clear they have got to know him over the few months he's been here. Facilities are very good, there's a pleasant environment for the residents,
and the food always looks and smells good. Very grateful my dad is able to stay in such a lovely place and receive the care that he needs.

My father is currently staying ay Hampton Hall in an interim NHS hub bed, as he is being assessed for on going care. I can not stress how absolutely amazing the staff are in Hampden House, nothing is too much trouble for them, they are kind, compassionate, and utterly dedicated to the welfare and comfort
of the residents. If the home was located to my father's home town I would have absolutely no qualms in requesting for his continued care to be given by this truly loving group of people.

My father is well cared for at Hampden Hall Care Centre. Following a fall at home my father arrived at the centre and was anxious and unsettled, with the care and support of the staff he has settled into a new routine and is encouraged to do as much as he can independently. His wellbeing has improved
and he is now much happier than when he lived alone. From a family point of view the care staff have been very supportive, friendly and easy to talk to. We know he is safe, well cared for an has the support he needs when he needs it.

I have been very pleased with the way all the staff react towards my mother since her arrival. They are cheerful and kind and react sympathetically to her needs and wishes. Their attitude is so important to me as with her fluctuating dementia, her behaviour can be inconsistent. Her appearance is always
that of being well cared for. The qualified staff are good at asking for family input into decision making. The home has a welcoming atmosphere starting with a great reception team and opening visiting shows there is a true picture of how everything functions.

I would without hesitation recommend Hampden Hall Care Home. My stepdad was fortunate to finally after 5 years fighting for help offered a permanent placement and I was so grateful finally he was close to enable me to visit daily before his final journey. Dementia is a cruel disease that takes a piece
of someone everyday. Although his stay was suddenly cut short I would like to thank each and everyone from reception to nurses. My stepdad was treated with dignity and care during his stay and your kindness towards myself and him didn't go unnoticed. Any concerns were immediately brought to my attention with a telephone call. Mum / Nanna has been a resident at Hampden Hall since Spring 2023; she arrived from a protracted stay in hospital care and we were fortunate enough to secure her a forever home here. She had had to give up her dear cat and little cottage and had been fiercely independent; Hampden Hall staff managed
a tricky transition; they were, and continue to be, wonderful. The love, care and dedication is obvious the moment you step into the home. The peace of mind this has given the entire family is immeasurable. We know that her final years are good ones: dignity, love and quality care afford the staff every star. Thank you to you all. I have just got home and poured myself a glass of wine after visiting my relative. The reason I have said that is that I know I can relax and enjoy it because I know they are safe and looked after. I think its important for you all to know what an important job you do and how much it means to the families
of residents.
I know its a demanding job, but to hear my Dad saying he has had a lovely shower, or that he really appreciates how quickly you attend to him, or that he has had a great chat with one of the carers means the absolute world.
So keep doing what you do and know it makes such a difference to so many. Thank you.

My mum became a temporary respite client here December 2024 and I am now fighting to keep her here permanently. On arrival I felt an instant warm welcome. The staff were exceptional and still are to this day! This is the best care home I've ever come across and my mum has settled in lovely. I feel so

My wife's sister has been in care since the beginning of January 2025 and we have made several visits since then. Our judgement on all occasions is that this is a very well run Care Home. The pleasantness/ friendliness of staff is always there, and the attentiveness given to residents is first class.
Notable cleanliness is just one part of a very good environment. This has left us with no anxiety whatsoever, and we thank you for the relief this gives us.

All staff showed respect to my husband and gave him dignity, particularly at the end-of-life care. I was consulted at all points of care and medical care. My husband's wishes and mine were kept. The level of discretion, care, comfort and compassion were shown to the highest degree as was the professionalism
from the cleaner, receptionist up to the carers and nurses.

Job Title: Home Manager Joined: 2009

Juliana has worked with Westgate Healthcare since 2009, starting as a Unit Manager. Her work ethic, dedication and compassion led to a natural progression to Home Manager at our sister home, St Pauls. In 2021 Juliana became Home Manager at Hampden Hall and we are delighted to have her as part of the team.


Her passion for care and dedication to her residents make Juliana a wonderful asset to the team and she looks forward to leaving her mark at Hampden Hall.
