This beautiful care & nursing home has been supporting the local community of Aylesbury for over 10 years, offering skilled and responsive nursing, residential and dementia care. Residents and their relatives value the Westgate Healthcare family ethos and warm relationships that Hampden Hall achieves.

All ensuite bedrooms are generously sized enabling residents to personalise them as they wish and providing staff with the space to safely support each resident as needed.

Home has been used to support DTA process. Mum is comfortable but it did take a while to settle her in and staff didn't understand the request about clothes washing.
Care Mum has received is good she hasn't done any activities, her choice. she has lost some clothing. Staff seem helpful and want to
do what they can. A lot of residents on one floor did surprise me.

When my mum was accepted by Hampden Hall Care Centre was a good day. The staff are amazing, care shows in their faces.
The nursing tea, are amazing always keeping us informed.
No one wants a parent to be put in care but we are so happy that Mum is in Hampden Hall and being shown so much love and
respect and keeping her dignity.

We couldn’t have been happier and more appreciative of the wonderful care the manager and her team provided to our mum, who was a resident of Hampden Hall for 13 weeks receiving end of life care. Whilst moving into the home to receive specialist medical care and 24/7 support when she became too ill
to be cared for at home wasn’t what any of her family really wanted, it was the best thing we did, and mum agreed. We shall be especially grateful for the sensitivity, professionalism and care shown to the family when Mum did leave us, this care made a very difficult and emotional time that little bit easier to deal with.

I am well pleased with the care that my husband s getting. I am particularly pleased with the well-being team and grateful for all their help. They help with the difficulty of WhatsApp calls. They are always cheerful and very patient, also the staff on reception and all the carers and nurses.

We relocated our mum from another care home in early June 22 to be closer to family. In the short time she stayed at Hampden Hall, all staff and management were welcoming, kind, caring, friendly and efficient to both Mum and her daughters. Sadly Mum passed away during her second week, and we were able
to stay with her during the night and were supplied with anything we needed - food, drink, comfort and friendship.

It was my mum's birthday today, and the home did a lovely tea party for her. We were invited, they made sure the time worked for us, and they made her a lovely cake. There were decorations, music and some dancing for those that fancied it. It made my mum feel special, and it's so nice that Hampden Hall
could provide a happy time for her under difficult circumstances.

Mum made the decision to move in late 2021, having decided she was ready to give up her house. After visiting five different homes in the area my sister and I agreed that Hampden Hall Care Centre offered the best and liveliest environment for Mum, and she really liked the atmosphere and facilities when
we took her for a visit. Being purpose-built means the rooms are a good size and she could take a lot of her own belongings with her. Despite a Covid-19lockdown over Christmas, with no visitors, she was rarely bored and the staff on the second floor took good care of her. We were also very impressed with the GP service who work with the care centre, who were much better than Mum's previous GP. The only thing we would change would be to add more activities and trips out, but we know this was not possible during Mum's stay due to Covid-19. Mum died in hospital in April following a very short, unexpected illness and the staff were amazingly supportive. We just wish she could have been there for longer.

We have found as a family that Dad is being cared for by a very dedicated group of carers. We are regularly informed as to Dads progress and have nothing but praise. Thanks to all that care for him. So, as a family, we highly recommend Hampden Hall Care Centre.

My mother suffered a stroke at the end of September and, after time in hospital, she was transferred to Hampden Hall Care Centre for end of life care. Having worked in a hospice, I consider that the care given to my mother, and the staff's care of me, was of equal standard. Communication with all staff
was outstanding and nothing was too much trouble for them. Although the outcome was very sad for me and my family, it was made easier to bear because my mother was cared for so well and in a very calm and quiet setting.
I shall be forever grateful.

My mother was discharged for assessment to Hampden Hall Care Centre in June during Covid. She is in isolation for two weeks so I couldn't visit her. However, the staff were very professional when I phoned.
I was delighted on the standards at the home when I visited, and my mother settled in happily
very quickly. She is now a permanent resident and is very happy. The standard of care is exemplary the home is comfortable and the staff very caring. I am so relieved it turned out well.

The care staff are genuinely caring and do their utmost to make my father happy. The well-being team have been superb at enabling Dads remote family to communicate regularly via video etc. Everybody we came across, from the reception desk to cleaners, is friendly and helpful. Food is absolutely delightful especially the vegetables. All staff tried to please me and were kind and I trusted them. I felt very safe. Unit managers came and checked on me daily to ensure I was happy.

I have found the care and consideration shown to both my mum and myself extremely thoughtful and friendly. Any contact made with the home has always been professional and responsive, calls are returned and messages passed on. Mum's comfort and care is very well considered and tailored to her very specific

I came to Hampden Hall as I was not able to cope at home. I am very happy with this decision. The staff are all lovely, the girls on the first floor are brilliant, they all treat me with dignity and respect. Great facilities, very big lounge and cinema room. Fish and chips are the best and all food
is tasty.

Her work ethic, dedication and compassion led to a natural progression to Home Manager at our sister home, St Pauls. In 2021 Juliana became Home Manager at Hampden Hall and we are delighted to have her as part of the team.


Her passion for care and dedication to her residents make Juliana a wonderful asset to the team and she looks forward to leaving her mark at Hampden Hall.
