Hampden Hall Care Centre

Mum has been in Hampden Hall for 7 weeks. After her initial apprehension and anxiety of leaving her own home, where she lived alone, she is now thriving - making new friends and taking part in activities. This month was Mum's birthday and the home laid on a tea party for her, she felt very special. Thanks so much to the staff at Hampden Hall - they are an extremely caring, considerate and friendly bunch!

We had to ask social services to find 24x7 care for our 92-year-old friend who is suffering with pancreatic cancer. We are overwhelmed by the environment, activities, and personal service provided by the whole team at Hampden Hall. We couldn’t have left our precious friend in better hands. Such a well run care home staffed by incredibly caring, compassionate people.

I would love it if the staff had a little more knowledge on the current situation of my loved one as I sometimes have to ask a few people before I find someone who knows what the latest is.

Excellent and professional care of my mother for the last three and a half months of her life. Wonderful comfort and dignity.

Although my uncle only enjoyed a brief stay with you, we were both heartened by the care and empathy he received. We noted that someone had taken the time to trim his nails which had been sadly neglected in his hospital stay.

The receptionist always greens us with a smile and welcome. She knows our names and who we have to come to visit after the first visit. The staff seem to enjoy their work. At any time you can approach and enjoy their work. At any time you can approach them, they are helpful. The family member we visit always looks well cared for and respected which must be difficult as they have dementia. The home is clean and quiet and does not have unpleasant odours.

It's bee a very good stay for my mum at Hampden Hall Care Centre staff are very helpful and caring. My mum was very happy during the stay, she had put on a few pounds in weight. Thanks for all your support. Love from all the family.

Very good reception area and personnel. Inconsistency with dressing my husband, especially if he isn't well ie has a chest infection. I would like him to have his vest on in winter, and a cardigan or long-sleeved top, sometimes he only has a short-sleeved shirt on. Otherwise, I am satisfied with his well-being.

I've only been impressed with Hampden Hall Care Centre. The building itself is always spotless, the food is really good and most of all, the staff are brilliant. My wife is a resident here and she has been looked after amazingly well, I would recommend Hampden Hall to anyone.

What an amazing nursing home. The care and attention to my mum has been amazing, the entertainment team are wonderful. Everyone is so friendly. Would definitely recommend this beautiful home to anyone.

The care home is run by very professional, caring staff. The care home is immaculate, clean and well decorated - a very pleasant environment for your family member. Having looked hard for a care home for my father I was really pleased to find a place for him at Hampden Hall Care Centre.

Care Mum has received is good she hasn't done any activities, her choice. she has lost some clothing. Staff seem helpful and want to do what they can. A lot of residents on one floor did surprise me.

No one wants a parent to be put in care but we are so happy that Mum is in Hampden Hall and being shown so much love and respect and keeping her dignity.

All staff very helpful, some doing a very difficult job under difficult times with the virus etc. Always had time to help when a problem came up.

I am well pleased with the care that my husband s getting. I am particularly pleased with the well-being team and grateful for all their help. They help with the difficulty of WhatsApp calls. They are always cheerful and very patient, also the staff on reception and all the carers and nurses.

We relocated our mum from another care home in early June 22 to be closer to family. In the short time she stayed at Hampden Hall, all staff and management were welcoming, kind, caring, friendly and efficient to both Mum and her daughters. Sadly Mum passed away during her second week, and we were able to stay with her during the night and were supplied with anything we needed - food, drink, comfort and friendship.

It was my mum's birthday today, and the home did a lovely tea party for her. We were invited, they made sure the time worked for us, and they made her a lovely cake. There were decorations, music and some dancing for those that fancied it. It made my mum feel special, and it's so nice that Hampden Hall could provide a happy time for her under difficult circumstances.
