This beautiful care & nursing home has been supporting the local community of Aylesbury for over 10 years, offering skilled and responsive nursing, residential and dementia care. Residents and their relatives value the Westgate Healthcare family ethos and warm relationships that Hampden Hall achieves.

All ensuite bedrooms are generously sized enabling residents to personalise them as they wish and providing staff with the space to safely support each resident as needed.

I am very happy with Hampden Hall home. My mother is getting extremely good care and she seems very happy.
I am always phoned if there is a problem and I always get very good service from reception when answering my phone calls and given help. The lady on reception has a really good attitude and very
friendly and helpful. The carers and nurses on the ground floor are excellent.

My wife entered Hampden Hall Care Centre in February 2019 and died in October 2020. On leaving my wife in Hampden Hall Care Centre in 2019, the staff were exceedingly helpful, very understanding of the trauma this caused the family and very supportive.
I have nothing but praise for the quiet professionalism
shown by the staff during this period. My wife was 'past' participating in activities. Nevertheless, the staff ensured birthdays and wedding anniversaries were memorable events. Post-Covid the challenges for Hampden Hall Care Centre were extreme. The staff were superheroes. They protected my wife - although of course, her contracting world contracted greatly, being confined to her room. We only had one visit during this period and one at her death. During this Covid period, the staff did their best to provide online internet connection and kept us up to date with my wife's deteriorating condition.
Our family could not ask for anything more. Value for money good to excellent.

What a difference new management can make! From seriously investigating alternative homes, I know wouldn't move Dad anywhere else. Despite his advanced dementia and inability to communicate, I truly feel that the staff afford him total respect and dignity. He is clean, tidy and contented. We, as his
family, are enabled to see him most days vis FaceTime, and despite his inability to speak, allowed as on as we wish to communicate. His Birthday last week was not only acknowledged but truly celebrated with banners, balloons and an amazing chocolate cake backed especially for him - no take out. We were given over an hour FaveTime, brought only to end because Dad fell asleep - too much excitement in his room! Not only do all the carers need recognition, praise and a pay rise for the amazing job that they do, but so do the entire team, the cleaner, the catering staff, maintenance, admin and management. No longer fo I lie awake worrying about Dad and his care; instead, I just miss him and thank the wonderful team that look after him. Thank you all at Hampden Hall.

Like so many others in my brother's position, he never wanted to be in residential care, but you all helped to settle him in and we always thought that you worked hard to meet his needs despite his illness. You all treated him as the person he was and helped maintain his dignity to the end. We could
not have chosen anywhere better for him. The spotless and pleasant rooms, the fabulous food that he loved. We as a family were always greeted with a hello and lovely smiles and always felt welcomed. Thank you to you all you are all amazing. Well done everybody you are all fab.

The staff are kind and professional. They get to know their residents and understand the nature of the individuals who they are providing care for. The staff spend time with the residents caring for their physical and emotional needs from day one right up until the end. All the facilities are clean,
and the home is kept fresh and in great order. However, it is the staff, from the lovely helpful receptionist to the senior nursing staff who make this care home an excellent choice for a loved one.

My dad was looked after for four years by the lovely staff at Hampden Hall, and I would recommend this home. He always seemed happy, clean and well known by all the staff. I was always kept informed of changes or things that happened. I must add the food was lovely, freshly cooked and varied.

My dear late wife was in residence at Hampden Hall for about 21-months, March 2018 to early January 2020.
Her care was very good, and she was able to survive despite her worsening dementia.
I had every confidence in the staff and surroundings and feel that her last few months of life, were as comfortable

This is a home unlike any other I have known. It is warm, inviting, hopeful and folks are so lucky to be there. The nursing staff are attentive 24/7, they are constantly watchful and always ready to attend to my husband's distress and fight his pain. As visitors, the cups of tea and kindness and sympathy
kept us sane. We loved everyone. I will book myself a room when I get ill.

From the moment we were shown around the home by the housekeeper we knew this was the perfect place for my mother's care.
The facilities and staff were all good and some of the staff went that extra mile to ensure my mother's final days were with dignity and care.

Juliana Mensah

Job Title: Home Manager Joined: 2009

Juliana has worked with Westgate Healthcare since 2009, starting as a Unit Manager. Her work ethic, dedication and compassion led to a natural progression to Home Manager at our sister home, St Pauls. In 2021 Juliana became Home Manager at Hampden Hall and we are delighted to have her as part of the team.


Her passion for care and dedication to her residents make Juliana a wonderful asset to the team and she looks forward to leaving her mark at Hampden Hall.
