This beautiful care & nursing home has been supporting the local community of Aylesbury for over 10 years, offering skilled and responsive nursing, residential and dementia care. Residents and their relatives value the Westgate Healthcare family ethos and warm relationships that Hampden Hall achieves.

All ensuite bedrooms are generously sized enabling residents to personalise them as they wish and providing staff with the space to safely support each resident as needed.

Residents have the choice of several charming living and dining areas in which to relax or socialise.

The facilities have been designed to enhance resident care and quality of life, as well as optimise cleanliness and help minimise the spread of any infections, this includes wood effect flooring, hand washing facilities in every room and hand gel dispensers throughout the home.

My husband was a resident at Hampden Hall for the last weeks of his life, he was treated lovingly with respect and dignity at all times. The staff were unfailingly kind and helpful to the family and made a difficult time more bearable. Thank you all.

From the moment I stepped through the door until the time I left, we were made so welcome.

Our mother was provided with the utmost care and compassion during her stay with you, albeit for only six weeks and one day. Our mother passed peacefully away here and we, her family, were dealt with in an extremely caring, sympathetic and compassionate way during the end of life care of our mother,
which was a very upsetting and distressing time for us, made more bearable by our wonderful staff. Thank you so very much indeed.

I found the care home to be open and friendly. Staff extremely courteous and helpful. The rooms are lovely and very well maintained. The nurses/care staff were always ready to talk and help as appropriate. The management is excellent. I would heartily recommend this care home.

My mother's end of life care could not have been handled with more compassion, sensitivity and kindness. The unit manager's compassion deserves special mention as it cannot be taught as it comes from within.

My father had severe dementia and was cared for at Hampden Hall Care Centre for the last two months of his life.
The care provided by the nurses and care staff was outstanding, they ensured Dad was always comfortable and kept clean and dry. They catered for his every need and this was done with the
utmost respect and dignity.
When Dad’s needs changed as he deteriorated, they responded swiftly and professionally. I did not have to worry at any time that his care needs were not being met. The care staff spent time with him – a must for individuals with dementia. Their understanding of the needs of residents with dementia is exceptional.
All the staff are friendly and approachable, they treated me with care and respect and made me feel a part of the team. I was constantly updated on Dad’s condition. When he died the care team were respectful and professional and showed real sensitivity and care for myself and my family.
I cannot recommend Hampden Hall Care Centre highly enough.

Staff were friendly. Care was poor. Rooms were dirty, also floor hallways. Whenever I visited, resident never had any clothes or wrong clothes.

My dear mother was a resident of Hampden Hall for 7 years. The staff always treated her kindly and with respect. The care was exceptional. I would most definitely recommend Hampden Hall and in fact, have done to anyone who has asked me for my comments on care homes.

Friendly, caring staff working within a pressured environment. Always felt my father was well cared for and I could happily leave him. Ample activities and interaction with staff and visitors. Hampden Hall was the home of my mother from January 2013 to January 2019. The staff are friendly and approachable and always on hand if needed. The rooms are bright and airy and resident's personal items of furniture are allowed if requested. Relatives are always kept up to date with any changes that
may occur during their resident's stay.

From the first telephone call to one staff member to the day my mum passed away in the home in January 10th, all of the staff were efficient, professional and caring. Food first class, room immaculate. Staff couldn't do enough for mum or visiting family.
Would recommend the home for beyond our expectations.

My husband was looked after compassionately for the whole 12 months that he was a resident of Hampden Hall. He was bathed and fed even when he was unable to do anything for himself. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff - carers and nursing.

My husband, who had dementia, lived at Hampden Hall for nearly three years. To begin with, his behaviour was extremely demanding, eventually, he needed a great deal of nursing care. At all times, the staff who cared for him showed genuine affection, respected his dignity and did everything they could
to give him the best possible quality of life. The managers were very approachable, good at keeping the family involved and had what always appeared to be a happy team. There was a good activities programme and the food all homemade - was excellent and plentiful.

My husband was in the home for almost nine months. In all that time, he was treated with kindness and compassion. Juliana Mensah

Job Title: Home Manager Joined: 2009

Juliana has worked with Westgate Healthcare since 2009, starting as a Unit Manager. Her work ethic, dedication and compassion led to a natural progression to Home Manager at our sister home, St Pauls. In 2021 Juliana became Home Manager at Hampden Hall and we are delighted to have her as part of the team.


Her passion for care and dedication to her residents make Juliana a wonderful asset to the team and she looks forward to leaving her mark at Hampden Hall.
