This beautiful care & nursing home has been supporting the local community of Aylesbury for over 10 years, offering skilled and responsive nursing, residential and dementia care. Residents and their relatives value the Westgate Healthcare family ethos and warm relationships that Hampden Hall achieves.

All ensuite bedrooms are generously sized enabling residents to personalise them as they wish and providing staff with the space to safely support each resident as needed.

Residents have the choice of several charming living and dining areas in which to relax or socialise.

The facilities have been designed to enhance resident care and quality of life, as well as optimise cleanliness and help minimise the spread of any infections, this includes wood effect flooring, hand washing facilities in every room and hand gel dispensers throughout the home.

My mum moved into the home six years ago and stayed until she passed away on September 10th.
I couldn't have asked for better care for my mum.
The staff were amazing and very hard working. I will never be able to say enough thank you's for all the care, kindness, compassion and laughter they gave
to me and my mum during her stay and during her passing.

My uncle has been in respite here for a month. He looked clean, nicely shaved and was well-fed. He was happy and relaxed and liked sitting in the big communal lounge and being able to see the treed all around the outside.

Right from the first day, he went to live at Hampden Hall and every day after, right up to the day he passed away, every side member of staff gave him the best care he could have. All the staff were very caring and considerate to myself and the rest of his family.
I would certainly recommend to anyone
that Hampden Hall would be the best place to look after their loved one.

Seven years ago I looked at five Nursing Homes before selecting Hampden Hall to look after my wife. Why Hampden Hall? What impressed me was the happy atmosphere amongst the staff. You all seemed to have a lovely friendly team spirit. I believed that a happy team would give better care and over the last
seven years, you have proved me right. I could have asked for nothing better than the care with which you looked after her. As a visitor, I was always made to feel I was amongst friends. This is the soft side of caring. It really matters and made my time with my wife so much better.

My mother aged 88 had multiple medical conditions and was bedridden for the 15 months she was at the home. Home was the correct word to use as my mother was made to feel that this was her home. The love, care and support she received made her life at the home as comfortable as it could be. Visitors
to her home were always welcomed most warmly and nothing was too much trouble. I highly commend the home to anyone considering a nursing home.

My wife was transferred to Hampden Hall from another home in June 2017 as they were not set up to give her the specialist dementia care she needed. I was impressed with the patience and understanding shown to her by the nursing/caring staff, particularly as the condition progressed towards the end of
her life. The room and food were of a good standard and I would recommend this home if asked in future.

My experience with Hampden Hall Care Home spanned three years and it was a very good experience all round. Each member of the team, from reception, office worker, nurse, cleaners and activities providers treated myself and my relative with kindness and compassion. I was welcomed into the home and witnessed

My Mum spent a couple of years at Hampden Hall. The home itself is light, bright, airy and always clean and tidy. The staff are exceptional. From the moment you walk into the home you are greeted with smiles, care and kindness. As a family, we can't thank all the staff enough for looking after my Mum.
We had peace of mind knowing she was safe, very well cared for and treated with dignity and respect. We were always kept up to date with any issues which arose and in the final week of my Mum's life, the staff not only cared for Mum but also showed us such kindness and support for which we will always remember and be extremely grateful for.

None of us like change, but my brother was very reluctant about moving to Hampden Hall Care Centre, but once there was very happy. All the staff were so kind very caring and helpful when my daughter and I made a visit we could see how my brother was looked after and just how hard all the staff worked.

I have found the staff very caring and kind. My husband is very happy in the home and certainly enjoys the food. The standard of catering is very high always a choice available and would be prepared to make a sandwich if it was needed. The floor manager is very competent and can usually sort out any

Hampden Hall has been excellent during what has been a very difficult time for our family. My 85-year-old father, following a stroke, needed to go into a care home and everyone at Hampden Hall have done all they can to make him as settled and comfortable as possible. The food is exactly the sort of
things he would have eaten at home, good old-fashioned cooking, the staff are always friendly and cheerful to him and us and nothing is too much trouble. I would thoroughly recommend this home to anyone who is faced with the same difficult decision that our family was.

My mother has been cared for at Hampden Hall for 7 and a half years until her death in December 2017. During that time my father, mother-in-law and father-in-law have also been cared for. All received excellent care and attention. Mum was exceptionally well looked after as since her admission she had
been unable to do anything for herself, requiring total care. The staff have been brilliant and well lead by the nurse in charge of 2 Floor.

Juliana Mensah

Job Title: Home Manager Joined: 2009

Juliana has worked with Westgate Healthcare since 2009, starting as a Unit Manager. Her work ethic, dedication and compassion led to a natural progression to Home Manager at our sister home, St Pauls. In 2021 Juliana became Home Manager at Hampden Hall and we are delighted to have her as part of the team.


Her passion for care and dedication to her residents make Juliana a wonderful asset to the team and she looks forward to leaving her mark at Hampden Hall.
