My sister has been in for 6 months I can't rate the lodge high enough everyone so kind the place is spotless have helped my sister immensely everyone makes visitors feel very welcome the area is very nice and peaceful

I'm writing to express my heartfelt thanks for the care, kindness, and professionalism you showed when looking after my father during his time with you.
Entrusting a loved one to the care of others is never an easy decision, but your team made that transition so much easier for both him and our family.
It was a great comfort knowing he was in such capable and compassionate hands. Your patience, dignity, and genuine warmth did not go unnoticed and I am deeply grateful.
From the thoughtful way his personal needs were met to the small gestures that brought a smile to his face, it's clear that your staff go that extra mile to create not just a place of care, but a place of dignity and comfort. I also appreciated the open communication which helped us as a family feel connected and reassured throughout.
Please pass on my gratitude to everyone involved in his care, from the nurses and carers to the kitchen and cleaning staff. It truly takes a team to create such a positive environment.

Chandos Lodge are currently looking after my mum. The care, support shown to my mum is nothing but 5 star. Chandos lodge has a family feel where the staff can not do enough for you and always with a smile. As my mum can not always communicate well with me the Staff are always available to update
me on how mum is doing. Good homemade food which mum enjoys.
Great housekeeping team mums room is always clean.

My husband came to reside at Chandos Lodge in June 2024. The whole team has been absolutely wonderful with his care and needs.
Our eldest daughter got married in September 2024 and the team at Chandos organised everything for us so that my husband could attend our daughter's wedding ceremony. They
got him ready, arranged a special taxi for his wheelchair and also sent a carer with him for his needs.
In May 2025, daughter's wedding reception took place but sadly my husband couldn't attend that so we decided to repeat the occasion at Chandos just us family of five. Once again everyone was so helpful in getting him ready, organising a private room and music so that we can make some wonderful memories together.
we are so pleased that he is at Chandos and being looked after by wonderful and caring team of people.

Management and staff all friendly, kind and caring. I have previous experience with other care homes, Chandos Lodge goes way out front with any of the others. I am very grateful that my husband has a place there.

My mother has been cared for at Chandos Lodge Care Home after first being admitted for palliative care and was expected to live for only a few days, that was eight years ago now. She has been cared for very well by all the staff. Chandos Lodge is a very lovely care home, I fully recommend Chandos Lodge

My mother-in-law has been a long-term resident at Chandos Lodge Care Home, as a dementia patient. Over the progression of her disease, she has always received a high-quality of care and as her next of kin, I have always been consulted on all issues involved in her care. All the staff I have met have
shown compassion and professionalism in their work. The attention received by the local GP service is also excellent.

Our dad has been a resident at Chandos Lodge Care Home for three and a half years now. He receives the very best of care at all times. The management team and staff know myself and my brother personally and will reach out to us if they have any concerns about our dad's health or if he needs anything
special bought for him, we entrust our precious dad to their care.
The best thing about Chandos is the lovely 'family' feel about the home, the care team are all so kind, they make a point of getting to know each of the residents and their relatives which is so comforting.
I cannot praise this care home highly enough.

What can I say about Chandos Lodge Care Home?
My mother spent 129 days in hospital and when we were told she was moving into a care home we were happy. We went and had a look around we were welcomed with open arms by the manager and all the staff. They did everything for us from sorting doctors change
over to to getting her hair cut. My dad and I are there every day and we are welcomed with a cup of tea and coffee. my mother has settled in very well and she is loved by all the staff. Chandos Lodge strives to run their nursing home like one big, happy family and we would recommend them very highly.

My wife has been a resident in Chandos Lodge Care Home since early June 2022, where she was discharged from hospital. Nevertheless, despite our not having been given any say in the choice of home, I and our family are really impressed and delighted with it. All the staff and management are most helpful,
friendly, caring, attentive and professional, doing whatever is best for all their residents. The quality of care and attention that my wife (she has dementia, besides some other issues) receives is truly excellent and her small number of assigned regular carers display great affection for her, although all the home's other staff demonstrate a real fondness for her as well, such is the ethos of Chandos Lodge. They all do a first-rate job of attending to her every need. I truly believe, based on almost a year's experience, that it would be extremely difficult to find a care/nursing home elsewhere where she would be better looked after and we are so lucky that she was sent there.

My mother is in Chandos Lodge for a 4 week period and I cannot fault the nursing care that she has been given from the nurses there. She has been medically looked after, physio has been arranged as well as doctors visits. There has been a great improvement in her.
The carers have been kind and, unlike
her experience during a stay in hospital, she has been showered and dressed in clean clothes every day.
The manager is pleasant and accomodating and the whole team are very hardworking.

I was blown away by the experience today at Chandos Lodge. The staff set an outstanding example - friendly, attentive and made you feel at home. I feel very satisfied that my Grandma is in safe hands and would highly recommend this nursing home to others searching for the best care.

Chandos Lodge is as close to home as you can get, it has a family feel to it, very friendly and professional staff, meals made freshly every day and happy to make something if they don’t like it. Can't say how happy I am that my dads there and so well looked after.

My mother recently passed away on 9th April. She was at Chandos Lodge care home Farnham Common. She had dementia, also she had a stroke. Her caring needs were 24/7 and the care she received was very good from all the staff. She was under their care from 2008 to 2019. During her stay, I would visit her
as much as I could. Each time I visited the care home I always found the home clean and tidy and the food provided was also very good. The owners of the home were always very polite and would inform me if my mother needed anything ie new clothes, her hair if it needed trimming. So without any doubt, I have no problem recommending this care home.
