On arrival the staff couldn't do enough, not just for my partner but myself and neice. Staff came to number his cloths for the laundry and hung them up, I asked if I could help they said no no its our pleasure. Every member of staff that I have met have been wonderful very helpfull. My partner has only been here a few days but I can see a big difference in him already, he is much calmer and happy he smiles. I can not thank the staff enough.
Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful words. We are truly touched by your feedback and delighted to hear that you, your partner, and your niece felt so warmly welcomed by our team.It means a great deal to us to know that the care and support we provide made such a positive impact so early...
But his time there, he was safe, well looked after and cared for to the highest quality.
The building and rooms are lovely, clean and comfortable.
From entering the building, the lady on reception was so kind, welcoming and caring and made us all feel relaxed and happy. The time we were there especially during when we lost Dad at the end, she gave so much time, care, and love to us, that we will always be grateful. The nurses and care staff on Balmoral were so kind and attentive to Dad and really got to know him well. They nursed him with such care at the end and were gentle and compassionate.
All the staff at Brentwood Care Centre made our time there and experience a very personal one that we will always appreciate. We are so pleased Dad was able to be there for the last few months of his life and only wish he'd been there longer.
Thank you to everyone at Brentwood Care Centre.
Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us. We are truly honoured to have been a part of your father's journey and to have provided care and comfort during his time at Brentwood Care Centre.Your kind words about our staff, especially those on Balmoral and at reception, mean the world to...

Well run place. The staff are friendly and helpful. When residents called for help they have answered immediately. The residents looked happy and well cared for and the building was clean, bright and cheerful. My friend is very happy at this lovely home.

I cannot explain how much I appreciate all the help and support I and my family have received from the team at the Brentwood Care Centre. From my initial query about care, literally everything has been incredibly smooth and easy. Dad has settled in and I have seen firsthand just how kind, caring and professional the whole team are. This has been a difficult time for my family but it has been made so much easier by the help provided by the entire staff. Huge thanks and appreciation to all.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a lovely review about Brentwood Care Centre. Most importantly, we are happy to hear that your dad has settled well! Moving into care can be a difficult time for yourself and family and I am glad you feel supported by us on your journey and we will pass your lovely comments over to our team.
The care my grandad is receiving is excellent. The staff are very friendly and helpful. He is very happy here. Everything is clean and he is very comfortable.
Thanks so much for taking the time to leave a lovely review, it has been an absolute pleasure to care for your grandad since he moved in with us and we will pass your comments over to the team.
Brentwood Care Home has been very supportive in my father's move from his home to the care home. He has been able to furnish and decorate his room with furniture and pictures from his home. The staff are extremely caring and have made him feel at home. The nurse has taken special care of any medical needs and I feel he is well looked after.
Thanks so much for taking the time to leave a lovely review. We are so pleased you feel your father has been supported through what we know can be such a difficult time for you all. We will be sure to pass your lovely comments over to the team.
The staff at the care home are always very welcoming and are always available to answer any queries I may have about my relative's care. Always making her feel welcome when she stays. She enjoys the entertainment and always has lots to do. The food is good as well. Her needs are always met during her stay.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a lovely review, we are so pleased your aunt always has such an enjoyable stay with us each time upon returning. It is great to hear she enjoys the range of activities that are on offer and the food as this is one of our most important elements of our service. We will be sure to pass your lovely comments over to the team.
My mother complained generally about the food but I feel this was rather harsh as it always looked good.
There was a slight smell of urine on the first floor but again, this is to be expected to a degree.
There were activities but didn't seem promoted enough as, at times, my mother was the only participant.
We were initially given a price which later changed to a higher cost which was a little unsettling. I felt the exact cost should have been stated at the onset. We also felt the cost was extremely high.
However, despite all the above, my mother enjoyed her stay there, I would recommend the care home and if they allowed one-week stays, I would rebook my mother back in.
Thank you so much for taking the time to write this review for us. I am so pleased that your mum enjoyed her stay with us. I recall that she did enjoy the activities on offer and that some of these were specifically arranged for her. Our team work very hard to promote a person-centred approach to...
Most complaints relate to food being late or sometimes cold.
Happy with personal care and staff members.
Loves the library area and garden.
Good range of activities on offer.
Thank you for taking the time to write this review for our home. I am sorry that Mum feels the food was not as good as it should be. We will use this comment to improve standards in the future. We are so pleased that you feel our team members and care are good and that the range of activities on...
Only issue sometimes is that there are staff shortages, particularly on the entertainment side which Mum enjoys.
Food quality has improved since the early days when staff shortages caused quality issues.
Thanks so much for taking time to leave us a positive review, we are pleased to know you feel Mum receives excellent care with us and we will pass these kind words on to our team. We continue to recruit and we have already recruited a new lifestyle team member who has started work with us this week and we are hopeful you will notice a great difference in our activity provision moving forward.
I was very grateful for all the care given. Every problem was solved, the staff were brilliant and very helpful. The resident's relatives were kept informed at all times and the resident was treated extremely well. Cannot fault the home at all.
Thank you so much for your kind comments, we're so pleased you're happy with the care given and we will pass over your lovely comments on to the team. We're glad we were able to support you with good communication through this time.
The staff carried out their duties, which at times could be unpleasant and not always appreciated by some of the residents, in a professional manner and always with a smile on their faces. I cannot praise them too highly. The rooms were good with ensuite toilet and wash basin. Ensuite shower would have been welcome instead of a separate shower room for general use. Food was good.
Thank you so much for your kind comments, it was a pleasure to support you whilst you stayed with us and we will be sure to pass your lovely comments over to the team.
The decor, facilities and surroundings are all lovely.
The only negative was the smell in the corridor when we first arrived. It hasn't seemed so bad since and we've noticed various "smellies" around to help this.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review, we are pleased to hear about your experience of our home and we are so glad to hear how our staff were able to reassure Mum settling in. It's also wonderful to hear the feedback about the decor and facilities within the home, as we pride...
As a family, we had been through a difficult experience at her previous care home.
We had looked at over a dozen other care homes and were impressed by a combination of management, staff and facilities.
When you have a parent with early onset dementia it's so important that the home is right for the resident.
Location is good. Building is welcoming. Parking is easy.
Initial management support and communication were excellent, making a stressful time for family so easy.
The refurbished rooms are lovely. Much more personal than many but keeping the resident in contact with staff and other residents.
The lounges for visiting are beautifully decorated.
Mum loves having her hair done and it feels like a real salon at Brentwood Care Home.
My fussy mum says that food is very nice.
Staff seem very attentive and there seems excellent training is given.
All care homes are expensive but Brentwood Care Centre is worth it. Recommend.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a lovely review about Brentwood Care Centre. Most importantly, we are happy to hear that your mum is settled and happy! We love that Mum enjoys having her hair done and also enjoys the food as this is an area we really pride ourselves on. Moving...
My father was discharged from the hospital into Brentwood Care Centre following a stroke in March 2024. He was on the 2nd floor as he required 24-hour nursing care. As you step out of the lift the smell of urine is unbearable. One resident was naked in the corridor and one lying on the floor, basically had to step around him. Most of the care staff were very good and kind but they are clearly stretched and understaffed most of the time. My father had other residents wandering into his room which scared him to the point that he was crying to family. His room was a good size but the TV had no remote control and therefore could not be switched between channels, the staff informed but nothing was done to replace it. An oncology appointment had to be cancelled because blood tests were not performed in time. The food provided was mainly inedible, we took to taking our own food in. We transferred my father out after 2 weeks as there were so many issues. All issues were raised with management at the time.
I am so sorry that your experience here was not a positive one for you. I was not the manager at the time you are referring to, but I felt I needed to apologise for the issues you experienced. Having said this, I feel I need to explain that due to the community, your father was admitted to being...
