The team take pride in the Willow Brook dementia suite, where the dedicated Dementia Lead and team provide specialised care in a calm, supportive environment, prioritising the physical and emotional well-being of residents.

At the heart of their care is their commitment to great food. The Culinary Team, led by a skilled Chef, prepares wholesome, seasonal menus daily, promoting the health and well-being of residents with every meal.

A vibrant activities programme enriches the lives of residents, offering a variety of engagements tailored to individual abilities and interests. Whether enjoying the landscaped courtyard gardens, exploring local attractions on a minibus outing, or participating in creative workshops, there’s something for everyone.

Brentwood Care Centre is purpose-built, featuring recently refurbished facilities including a bistro, lounges, a cocktail bar, a cinema, a hair salon, and a library. Each ensuite bedroom is spacious and elegantly designed for maximum comfort and privacy.

Can’t fault the care and accommodation at the care home. The only problem is, I can never get in touch by phone with the unit. I do get through sometimes, but if I can’t get there for a few days, I do like to ring, but everything else is fine.

The care home looks lovely but a visit to Balmoral (the dementia care unit) is a real eye-opener. Most of the staff are wonderful but there are far too few of them. The smell is often overpowering as residents are left for prolonged periods of time with soiled pads. Buzzers, pressed by residents needing
help, are left unanswered and there is a regular shortage of staff. Residents wander the corridors and walk into other residents' rooms and it is difficult to find staff to help. Residents that cannot walk spend prolonged periods of time in their rooms. I sent an email to the manager asking why our mother had been accepted to the unit when there weren't enough staff to deal with the residents already there and she did not reply. We are so happy that we have been able to move our mother to a small residential home where there is plenty of interaction with staff and she isn't left in her room most of the day.

My husband was transferred from hospital into Brentwood Care Centre, initially on a temporary basis. He very soon settled into the new surroundings and routine and is now very happy. The staff are very friendly and caring towards him and I am so grateful he was able to stay there on a permanent basis
and did not have to be moved. Thanks to all staff from management down.

Our dear mother was not here long and for palliative care. The amazing staff were exemplary, both medically and personally. As a family we were totally supported by the management, to facilitate the transfer of our mum from a heartbreaking stay via the hospital, on arrival to the home. We were supported
with our visits as a family and end of life care. We all felt the compassion and caring consideration and support as we said our last goodbyes to our dear mum. The majority of the staff were very helpful, caring and friendly. However, we did find that it was sometimes difficult to speak to people, because they were so very busy. We got the impression they were under-staffed, especially from a nursing perspective. There was one particular nurse, who was great
and very helpful, but unfortunately she wasn't there all the time. The management were very helpful and caring and when we had questions or concerns they were always addressed. The rooms are great and very clean.

All the staff have been very caring and always willing to discuss my sister's problems which has made me feel much better. The fact that she can have her hair washed regularly, washed and dressed on a daily basis as none of this was happening when she was at home, her self neglect was extremely worrying.

Dad moved here from a previous home, we moved him as we were unhappy with the standard of care. Our choice with Brentwood Care Centre was made on the care and professionalism from the managers. Dad has settled in and seems content considering the Covid challenges we feel as a family well supported.

Very positive experience for my mother in law, it took time for her to settle but when she did she felt very much at home The team there really helped with their care and the great activities. The Facebook page is a great idea to help families see what activities are taking place.

Maria Siia

Job Title: General Manager Joined: 2025

Maria Siia brings a unique blend of leadership experience and compassionate care to her role as Acting General Manager at Brentwood Care Centre.


With a background in nursing and further qualifications including NVQ Level 4, 5, and 6 in Health and Social Care Management, as well as a Master’s course in Nursing Diagnosis, Maria has developed the skills and knowledge needed to lead both operationally and clinically. She is passionate about using her expertise to support staff, uphold high standards, and ensure residents receive care that is both person-centred and respectful.


Maria thrives on the variety her role brings, valuing the opportunity to guide her team, solve challenges, and make a positive impact each day. She is especially proud to work at Brentwood Care Centre, a home praised for its friendly, responsive staff and its welcoming, purpose-built environment.

Rhiannon McNeill

Job Title: Customer Relations Manager Joined: 2022

Rhiannon joined the Brentwood Care Centre family in Spring 2022.


She is passionate about her role, supporting families and loved ones on their journey in looking for care and also building community links with the home's local community.

Diana Moraru – Manole

Job Title: Essex Regional Operations Manager

Essex Regional Operations Manager, Diana has a wealth of experience and knowledge from across Health and Social Care Sectors.


With over 16 years of experience, Diana started her career as a Health Care Assistant in a neurosurgical hospital and went on to train and qualify as a Nurse in Romania. Since coming to the UK in 2016 as a Nurse, Diana has had various roles leading up to her first General Manager role in 2017.


Diana’s experience in developing a team’s knowledge and skills through leadership and mentoring is something she is passionate about and is looking forward to supporting RCH Care Homes across Essex.


Another part of her role as Essex Regional Operations Manager that she loves is, ‘inspiring a great team to make further differences to the lives of the residents, making sure they are living their best life possible and that everyone feels it is a nice place to live and work; because it’s a home from home.’


Whilst not a work Diana enjoys travelling, keeping up to date with world news and being adventurous; this year she took part in a Sky Dive!
