At the heart of their care is their commitment to great food. The Culinary Team, led by a skilled Chef, prepares wholesome, seasonal menus daily, promoting the health and well-being of residents with every meal.

A vibrant activities programme enriches the lives of residents, offering a variety of engagements tailored to individual abilities and interests. My aunt has been well cared for over the last 9-10 years. The staff are always friendly and helpful. They will answer any questions and concerns. The doctor is called when necessary. I have been contacted when I need to no any problems with my aunt. She has moved rooms a few times for various reasons
and always protests but time has been taken to make sure she is happy. I would not consider moving her to another home.

Nan is happy here and has good care. She has put on weight and has better mobility and is treated with dignity by all the staff. There has been a change in management but we have had good communication and our family are confident in their abilities. The pandemic has been hard for us all but we know

My family and I chose this care home for its proximity to us. Since dad entered the care home in December 2019, we have found it generally acceptable in all aspects. The activities programme is encouraged by the staff to get residents involved and to meet one another. We found that at weekends when
visiting, staff were either unavailable or short-staffed. The staff we have encountered during these 7 months all seem friendly and helpful including the administrative staff and auxiliary staff.
During the lockdown, we feel that at times we have not been kept up to date with aspects like well being, requirements for the need for more toiletries/clothing, e.g. or anything of a medical nature, although staff have contacted me and informed me of certain situations.
The services of hairdressing, chiropodist, and contacts with opticians and dentist are all very useful for the availability to treat residents as and when required.

Since starting at the home a review of the process for sickness and absence has been completed and measures taken to ensure that this is all coordinated by the on-call manager, ensure staffing numbers are maintained at weekends as they are during the week. I think my brother is very well cared for. The staff are very kind and friendly towards him. The management has been very responsive to any specific requests we have. They are also very gracious to visitors.

My mother moved to your care centre from hospital and needed end of life care. She was treated with absolute dignity. My family were all shown such kindness and compassion. Nurses kept us informed every step of the way and we were able to spend mum's last few days with her feeling fully supported. Exceptional

All the staff are very caring and supportive. My husband was only at the home for a month but everyone did everything possible to make him comfortable. He obviously wanted to be at home but the managerial staff made it their business to find out from him why he was unhappy and made sure his worries
were taken away. Everyone working at the home were wonderful.

My dad was moved from hospital to Brentwood Care Centre for end of life care. He arrived on Wednesday and died on Friday. In that short time, he was treated with respect and dignity. It allowed us to spend time with Dad, without the pressure of visiting times and gave us the privacy we needed in order
for us to say goodbye. When he passed we were given time after and it was very peaceful, which is all I wanted for my dad.

My stepmother needed respite care when my sister, who lives close to her and visits daily, was going away. We need to know that she was in a safe environment and that someone was around should she fall. Brentwood Care Centre welcomed her and she settled in quickly. She told us that the food was good
and that all the staff were lovely. As she suffers from cognitive vascular dementia, she lives in the moment or happily talks about the past, and she seemed happy in her environment there. She did not, as we thought she would, stay in her room during activities (which she's never been keen on joining in when she was an adult), but enjoyed watching the other residents engaging, and was ready to assist them with anything, like getting something, or helping with feeding them at mealtimes. She has always helped others and this gave her a sense of purpose.


Once home, for a while she seemed far more her old self.

Mum came to Brentwood Care Centre in end of life care and stayed in the nursing floor Balmoral. For the short time she was there all our family were more than happy with the care she received, as well as support for us.
Based on our experience I am happy recommending Brentwood Care Centre.

Hi, I recently visited your care home to visit a friend and was extremely surprised at how lovely and clean their room was kept, and how happy they were in their room. I also would like to applaud the chef on duty for his care and attention to the lovely food he produced for dinner, who was very attentive
and seem to know just what residents wanted. What a delight he was, also the staff were very very friendly to the residents compared to the care home I visited in Leigh On Sea, Essex where a relative of mine was staying. I would definitely recommend your care home. Keep up the good work.

All the staff are lovely and treat you with respect. They seem to like my jokes. I am washed in bed as I am unable to stand at the moment. Had a shower last week, they had to help me which was painful. I am hoping they sort out physio whilst I'm in here. One thing I really am not happy about is my long
turquoise dress went missing and it had gone down to the laundry. Compensation?

After visiting my wife at The Brentwood Care Home I felt I needed to contact your company on behalf of my wife on how well she has been looked after and attended to. The staff are always very friendly and anything we ask for is never too much trouble.

On arrival, I've been taken care of extremely kindly. On the odd occasion there has been a misunderstanding of my needs but overall, I have found that I'm treated with respect and dignity.
My only complaint would be lack of staff so when I use my buzzer I have to wait a long time.
Staff are very helpful,
kind and respectful.
I can truly say that I would recommend anyone to come here. I feel safe and secure here. My friends and family are always welcome.

Maria Siia brings a unique blend of leadership experience and compassionate care to her role as Acting General Manager at Brentwood Care Centre.


With a background in nursing and further qualifications including NVQ Level 4, 5, and 6 in Health and Social Care Management, as well as a Master’s course in Nursing Diagnosis, Maria has developed the skills and knowledge needed to lead both operationally and clinically. She is passionate about using her expertise to support staff, uphold high standards, and ensure residents receive care that is both person-centred and respectful.


Maria thrives on the variety her role brings, valuing the opportunity to guide her team, solve challenges, and make a positive impact each day. She is especially proud to work at Brentwood Care Centre, a home praised for its friendly, responsive staff and its welcoming, purpose-built environment.

Essex Regional Operations Manager, Diana has a wealth of experience and knowledge from across Health and Social Care Sectors.


With over 16 years of experience, Diana started her career as a Health Care Assistant in a neurosurgical hospital and went on to train and qualify as a Nurse in Romania. Since coming to the UK in 2016 as a Nurse, Diana has had various roles leading up to her first General Manager role in 2017.


Diana’s experience in developing a team’s knowledge and skills through leadership and mentoring is something she is passionate about and is looking forward to supporting RCH Care Homes across Essex.


Another part of her role as Essex Regional Operations Manager that she loves is, ‘inspiring a great team to make further differences to the lives of the residents, making sure they are living their best life possible and that everyone feels it is a nice place to live and work; because it’s a home from home.’


Whilst not a work Diana enjoys travelling, keeping up to date with world news and being adventurous; this year she took part in a Sky Dive!
