Very comfortable, friendly surroundings, all residents appear happy and content. Love the itinerary of day-to-day activities. It's been a lovely visit, especially as my friend seems to have happily settled in after just a short time. I didn't want to leave!

The care home is very welcoming, clean and friendly. The staff are always happy to speak to all family members. The activities are brilliant, lots of different things to do very engaging and fun. The home has a very high standard of cleanliness.

My mum has never been so happy in a care home before. There is so much attention paid to each resident, and the care and love from the staff are just wonderful.
Mum especially loves all the activities during the day, trips to the cinema/pub and outings to the local nursery to buy plants for the garden.
I'm so glad we chose Paternoster House.

The carers are wonderful, the manager is helpful and efficient and the activities team are exceptional.


The activities mnager goes above and beyond for every

resident and their family, always trying to ensure residents have the best possible experiences they can. She is a credit to Barchester!

I have been coming to the home weekly to visit my gran for over a year, and I have always had the warmest of welcomes. Everyone is so kind and caring, and everybody knows my gran! When I walked in to see my grandad, the staff welcomed me, they are very professional. The care home has a very homely feeling. We were offered tea, coffee etc. and said we can help ourselves. The home is very clean and today. My grandad really enjoys the home and the company with staff and residents.

Driving into the premises I noticed how neat it was, plenty of parking space. We were greeted at reception and shown the way to a lovely room. Good aspects and light. Since my nan has been in your care, she looks healthier and is generally in better care. You guys are making sure she's eating properly and her sugar is okay. She doesn't seem lonely anymore and gets involved in the activities.

Paternoster House Care Home meets all the needs in taking care of my mother. I’m so happy I made the right choice to bring her there.
Mum is very happy there, we speak daily over the phone if I can’t go to see her, the staff are excellent and they keep me updated on Mum's meds, her diet intake etc.
Couldn’t ask for more. I highly recommend it.

Following 2 weeks of respite, Mum has decided to remain as a resident stating "I feel at home here and feel very comfortable". Staff are very welcoming and willing to answer any questions. My first impression was exceptionally clean, welcoming staff, always with a smile on their faces. After 4 weeks my opinion has not changed. My wife's birthday was recently and I asked if it was possible to have a few friends come over to see her, they agreed and offered to put on a spread (with birthday
cake) which the chef needs to be praised. The attentiveness of staff served and made sure all the guests including the children had food, with all this in mind this is why I can give the home a 5* rating and have peace of mind that my wife is being looked after better than I could provide at home.

My sister come here two weeks ago and I'm so happy with all the care of the staff, they all seem so caring. I only live a few minutes away so I can visit her more a less every day. My dad was in here for three years I had no complaints, at the moment my sister seems happy which I'm happy about. She

On arrival, we were all greeted and made to feel welcome. The staff are absolutely amazing; they go above and beyond to help families and residents. Every day you are greeted with a smile. My team and I take great pride in providing wonderful care to all our residents. I am a qualified General Nurse, I also have a master's degree in Business Administration in Health and Social Care which has given me the knowledge and direction to be effective in my job role.


As the General Manager I lead the team to provide care in a holistic approach to our residents. We involve families in all our decision-making and are always looking for ways to improve. The most important part of my job is to provide meaning to people's lives and understand and nurture them.


I take pride in championing others to be the best they can be in their job role. Working in partnership with residents, families and professionals are my core values.  A whole team approach to individual care is at the heart of Paternoster House and my door is always open.

I started working here in 2020 and I greatly enjoy welcoming visitors into the home, it will usually be myself answering the phone or opening the door. I love meeting and chatting with residents and their families.
