My wife has MND and has been a resident here since May 2022. All the staff we've met have been very friendly and have treated us with care, respect, dignity and understanding. My wife's care both personal and medical has been excellent. I was apprehensive about her going into a nursing home, however,
she is receiving better care than I could give her at home.
My one criticism would be that her room and its facilities need a bit of TLC or upgrading, the cleanliness of the room is not a problem and the housekeeping staff do a very good job.

The staff are friendly and helpful. The location is lovely and the facilities are good. The food looks really nice and there are plenty of activities for residents to get involved with which is great.

Paternoster looked after my father-in-law for a couple of weeks on respite. He was made to feel extremely welcomed and was treated respectfully. His care was really considerate, and he was well looked after. The food was very good, and attention to all his needs was very evident. He had a bad experience
in a previous respite and was extremely worried about his stay, but was full of praise when I picked him up.

We came to Paternoster House to see dad, he looked so happy and well. This is the first time since Christmas, he was bubbly, healthy and happy.
While we were visiting they had a singer who had everybody enjoying and joining in the singing.
Paternoster is an awesome caring place.

I find the home very good. The food is brilliant, I find the staff very friendly and caring.
I would recommend this home to anyone who needed extra support.
I have a lovely view from my bedroom which looks out onto the gardens, I often see birds and other wildlife including a muntjac.

When I first came here, I was very excited about meeting the residents, carers, staff and the management team as they were very polite and friendly and treated me with a lot of respect, compassion and dignity!
I’m very happy that I had this opportunity to stay at Paternoster House permanently because
they look after you very well, and I feel very safe staying here. I would highly recommend this care home to anyone needing care and support and to anyone who feels vulnerable or has a disability as you would get full care and treatment. This home has treated me like I am part of a forever growing family.

I visited my dad and to see how happy he is in this beautiful care home.
I met the new manager and she is absolutely outstanding nothing was any trouble. You can see how much she cares about all her residents and staff 110% devoted.
I am so glad my dad is in this care home I wouldn’t want him anywhere
else, you know he is getting well looked after.
I have also recommended this care home to a friend and would also recommend to anyone.
This is the care home to be in.

My team and I take great pride in providing wonderful care to all our residents. I am a qualified General Nurse, I also have a master's degree in Business Administration in Health and Social Care which has given me the knowledge and direction to be effective in my job role.


As the General Manager I lead the team to provide care in a holistic approach to our residents. We involve families in all our decision-making and are always looking for ways to improve. The most important part of my job is to provide meaning to people's lives and understand and nurture them.


I take pride in championing others to be the best they can be in their job role. Working in partnership with residents, families and professionals are my core values.  A whole team approach to individual care is at the heart of Paternoster House and my door is always open.
