My Mum spent the last six weeks of her life in Queens Court. She was very ill when she went into the home and she was always treated with dignity, respect and kindness by all the staff. The manager was excellent and always knew how Mum was whatever time I called. She also always had time for my sister
and me, however busy she was. My Mum said she was happy we'd chosen the home for her and so were we.

My mother was seriously ill and came to Queens Court for palliative care. I cannot fault the care and kindness that she received from all staff- from the manager through to the ward of staff. It was comforting to know that in her final days mum was well cared for and safe.

My mums stay in the nursing home was relatively short but in that time we found the management and staff were brilliant. The rooms were neat and tidy, the food was varied and tasty. Overall I have no complaints at all with Queens Court Nursing Home, my daughter and I have been back since my mums passing
to thank all the staff.

I cannot give my praises to this care home more than what I have. My grandma was so comfortable and welcomed into this lovely care home. The staff are amazing! Especially the manager. I cannot thank everyone enough for what they did for my grandma while she was seriously ill, and I also couldn't have
wished for a better place for her to have stayed and been at.

Although the home is usually understaffed, the staff that are there cope very well. Other than that, the home is adequate.

Carers and other staff are very kind, the activities are so much better now they have a coordinator. The food is generally luke warm and served on plastic plates which my mum doesn't really like. Good laundry service shame there isn't a hot evening meal option. Overall happy with the facilities. It's
the staff that make this home. There needs to be a volume limit on some people's televisions it's not very fair on others.

On some days there seem to be a lot of agency staff who my mother is not familiar with. The regular staff are friendly and helpful, but when they are allocated to other departments my mother feels upset, it's nice for residents to see regular staff daily. The home is always clean and all the staff are
friendly too. The food is sometimes poor quality I.e cold hard toast but not all the time.

I have been visiting my friend regularly since his admission four weeks ago. I always found him clean and cared for and meals provided regularly and drinks. He seems to be content there and doesn't complain of any ill treatment.

Daniela Caprioara

Job Title: General Manager

Joined: 2023

Daniela joined the Queens Court family in 2023 as the home's Deputy Manager and has recently taken the role of the home’s General Manager.


As a Registered Nurse, Daniela has over ten years of experience within the Health and Social Care sector in Clinical and Managerial roles within the NHS and also the private sector.


“As the General Manager here at Queens Court Care Home, I'm committed to providing our residents with the best care possible in a compassionate and understanding way. I strive to create a happy, fun, friendly and familiar atmosphere and environment for the well-being of all.


My role is complex and involves a range of responsibilities that ensure our home runs smoothly and that the residents get the support they need. As the home’s manager, I genuinely care about our residents, the team and the wider care home community. I’m proud to be the manager of Queens Court, it’s a lovely place to work. The community culture of home shapes our values, beliefs and dedication of the staff who put the needs and preferences of residents at the centre of everything they do. At Queens Court, we provided an inclusive and welcoming environment for all, residents, their families and loved ones, staff and professionals.”

Diana Moraru – Manole

Essex Regional Operations Manager, Diana has a wealth of experience and knowledge from across Health and Social Care Sectors.


With over 16 years of experience, Diana started her career as a Health Care Assistant in a neurosurgical hospital and went on to train and qualify as a Nurse in Romania. Since coming to the UK in 2016 as a Nurse, Diana has had various roles leading up to her first General Manager role in 2017.


Diana’s experience in developing a team’s knowledge and skills through leadership and mentoring is something she is passionate about and is looking forward to supporting RCH Care Homes across Essex.


Another part of her role as Essex Regional Operations Manager that she loves is, ‘inspiring a great team to make further differences to the lives of the residents, making sure they are living their best life possible and that everyone feels it is a nice place to live and work; because it’s a home from home.’


Whilst not a work Diana enjoys travelling, keeping up to date with world news and being adventurous; this year she took part in a Sky Dive!

After 25 years of a legal professions I was looking to change my career and do something local within my community to make a difference.
I stumbled upon Queens Court Care Home for vacancies and was offered the position of Activities Co-ordinator.


I have been in my role for 4 years, and have loved every minute. I have learned it is not just a job but a vocation and this has helped me to find my place in the community.


What I love about my role is that I am able to make a difference to our residents’ lives and their families. Anther important part of my role is bringing together the local community as a whole.


I was recently honoured that as testament and in recognition of my role and what I've achieved within the role as Queens Court's Activities Co-ordinator I recently won the Pride of Essex, Unsung Hero Award 2020, to which I was blown me away!
