other privately arranged healthcare. Should you require an escort to hospital appointments, we may apply
an agreed hourly charge for this service.

I visited my neighbour today and the change in him was fantastic in the very short period of time that he has been in Tall Trees.
He talked for 20 minutes about various subjects i.e. family/football/TV/and the village.
This is the very first time he has spoken to me since early December!

My mother has been in Tall Trees for a few months and I am honestly impressed. There is plenty of friendly, cheerful staff around at all times and the place has a really pleasantly busy and lively atmosphere. There are always people milling about and things going on. This helps the environment remain
lively and interesting for the residents. My mother is well cared for, the food is good, the rooms all have lovely views of the gardens and the manager is always accessible and friendly.
The star knocked off for facilities is because the minibus has been out of action for many months, leaving the residents without means of going out on any excursions, which was advertised. I believe it is mended now but yet to be used much.

In terms of our minibus, we do apologise for the inconvenience this has caused, the minibus is now fixed and we have a variety of activities planned now we have entered spring. We will be advertising our outings on our activities planner in the home, as it's a shared minibus, they will always be on the third week of every month.

My father has been a resident here for nearly ten years. Dementia is a cruel condition and it is natural for him to have gone up and down as he goes through the different stages of the condition. However, I have always felt the care staff have done a fantastic job looking after him. I live overseas
and visit whenever I can but he has always looked clean and tidy and well cared for. I receive regular updates about how he is doing via email. The manager has always been fantastic and makes me feel welcome when I visit. No one would want their relative to have dementia but he's definitely in the right place to ensure he is as safe as possible and cared for by the great staff.

My wife has been struck down with early-onset vascular dementia. She is frequently aggressive and physically violent. Yet somehow, the carers still see past her behaviour to look after her with kindness and compassion.
These things start at the top, which means the manager. Sadly, I am not allowed
to identify them. But if you visit Tall Trees, you will meet her.

On my first visit to Tall Trees Care Home, I was impressed by the attitude and kindness shown by all the staff who made us feel most welcome. The atmosphere was very homely and welcoming and I felt immediately that my husband would be happy there. His room was very pleasant, looking out on the garden.
The staff work very hard to make the residents happy, there are activities and trips out which he has really enjoyed. The food has been of a good standard and he has enjoyed his meals. I cannot thank the staff enough for making his stay at Tall Trees pleasant and happy. For myself, I have found the staff helpful and kind on all occasions I have visited. I would not hesitate to recommend Tall Trees Care Home.

A friend of a resident who visits Tall Trees regularly with a family member. I would give the home 10 out of 10, no complaints, very happy with the care and everything my friend receives. I would highly recommend Tall Trees to others as I was a carer myself for 10 years. I know good standards and practices.
The home is very clean and inviting.

I am happy here, I find the staff kind, caring, friendly and helpful. The room is adequate though needs decorating. The food is ok but lacks imagination.

Just to reassure you, we are currently decorating the rooms, our maintenance colleague is making his way around the home, and we are investing in some new furniture for the home. The menu is formed on resident's likes and dislikes as well as classics such as fish and chips, we are always open to any preferences so please let us know if there’s anything you would like to see on the menu.

I visit my wife daily. Mostly, she seems quite content. I am always met with courtesy and staff seem happy to see me. Any requests for assistance or information regarding my wife is always provided with the feeling that staff are only too happy to help.

Always a warm welcome from the staff. My dad looks well, and his care is excellent as his needs are high. His room is warm and comfortable, and the good I've seen him eat is of a high standard, considering the number of meals that are prepared. It gives me and my family peace of mind that he is being

I am very pleased with the standard of care my Mum receives here. She is happy, safe and well cared for, which is everything I could possibly want for her. Tall Trees is a great care home, well managed and the staff work well as a team! Good level of communication and there is always a welcoming and

My Auntie has recently become a resident at Tall Trees. The overall experience myself and my parents have found is outstanding. My auntie lived in Surrey but we chose for her to come nearer to us and from the day she was picked up, everyone has been amazing. Her room is lovely and very clean and she
certainly enjoys the food, as she has put on weight since her arrival. Due to covid restrictions, I haven't been able to see her much yet but feedback from my mother is second to none. All the staff really do care.

Mum and Dad were residents together and the care given to them was outstanding. They celebrated 70 years of marriage in the home and the staff gave them a wonderful day. Dad sadly passed in March and Mum passed in November. The staff cared for them right to the end in such a loving way. We could not
have asked for more. Thank you for the care and love you showed my parents, especially during such a difficult time.

First-class support and loving care to my recently deceased father. Tall Trees seemed an efficient care home but what stood out was the affection shown to my Dad during his stay and the tolerance shown as his dementia became increasingly an issue.

I’m a caring person, so it wasn’t a big surprise that I trained as a nurse and then moved into the care sector. I’m passionate about people and about delivering the high-quality care they deserve.


Care UK has a very clear and attractive vision for older people’s care. I joined the organisation in 2011 after working for various healthcare providers. It sounds odd to say this, but some providers don’t have care at the heart of what they do. Care UK is different, and I wanted to be a part of it.


We’re a close-knit, like-minded team at Tall Trees: each of us understands that we can make the difference to residents. Even the small things count in helping a resident to enjoy their day or have a meaningful interaction. When you see the positive impact this has on a person, it makes you want to do more and more!
