The Belmore Lodge has been very welcoming with all members of staff giving a happy smile and saying hello when I visit.
They have been very receptive to any concerns that we have and dealt with them in the appropriate, professional manner.
We are always kept informed of the current wellbeing of our mother.

The medical nursing team have dealt with any health issues in a positive manner.

My mother moved into Belmore Lodge just over 2 months and has settled very quickly. I have been very impressed with the level of care and kindness she has been shown by staff of all levels. The home manager shows strong leadership, with the result that any issues are dealt with quickly and positively. I can thoroughly recommend the excellence of this care home.

I have just had a wonderful stay at Belmore Lodge. It is so friendly and welcoming. It has been a long time since I have eaten so well. My skirts are now too tight. I have been involved in a wide variety of activities and trips. I never knew a care home could be so much fun.

Thank you, I can’t praise the staff enough at Belmore Lodge, My father moved here from a very poor Nursing Home where he was not looked after, moving him here was the best move we ever made “it was like moving him into the Chewton Glen” he was so well looked after and received the treatment and care he needed.
At the time of his end of life, we were kept well informed on what was going on. We are a large family and many times we were all here sometimes all night.

The staff not only looked after Dad but looked after us too with a constant supply of tea, coffee, sandwiches snacks etc. They even gave us a room to go and relax in and sleep in if we required it. Belmore Lodge completely exceeded our expectations and highly recommend to anyone looking for a HOME!! and a place where you will be cared for. 5 stars?? ????????

I visited Belmore Lodge only once before asking Colten Care to accommodate the lady I act for. I have been extremely pleased with the professional, relaxed way ALL the staff carry out their duties. It starts at reception when all queries are dealt with a smile. Cleaners, carers, caterers, nurses are all brilliant, with the VERY helpful manager co-ordinating things. Entertainment including trips out is all included! Better than a 5-star hotel!

I felt the need to submit another review as I cannot speak highly enough about this nursing home and the staff that work there.

My dad sadly passed away last week, he was only at Belmore Lodge for a few months.
For the time my Dad was at the nursing home, until the day he passed away, the staff were excellent. They maintained his dignity and went that extra mile to ensure Dad was comfortable, safe and well looked after - nothing was too much trouble.

Thank you to ALL of the staff, you maintained compassion, empathy and professionalism throughout, you are all a true asset to Colten Care and the nursing industry.

My mother-in-law spent the last year of her life at Belmore Lodge, how thankful my husband and I have been for the fantastic service and care from all the lovely staff. Even at her passing, the manager and her team were so very helpful to us, especially as we live overseas. We thank them from the bottom of our hearts. We also enjoyed the funeral refreshments at Belmore a thousand thank you's to you all.

Very good care was given to my late father. He went to live at Belmore Lodge in March 2017 and arrived from being very poorly in hospital.

He was given months to live and I'm sure with the care he received at Belmore Lodge went on to live a reasonably healthy life for a year.

Our mum went into Belmore Lodge in January 2018 having suffered a major stroke. From the moment she arrived, she was treated with lots of care and dignity. She had a lovely room with all amenities and attention to detail was second to none.

We would like to thank all the staff for giving our mum the best care in her last days.

From the moment my wife was admitted to Belmore Lodge nearly 3 years ago we all felt that we had joined a family. She was not able to do very much for herself but was totally cared for with dignity. The care staff were well trained and made my wife feel how important she was. The food is excellent with a good choice. Visitors are made very welcome and their names and connection are quickly remembered. I enjoy going in to visit her most days - my second home.

My father celebrated his 10th wedding anniversary at Belmore today with his wife who is a resident. The staff suggested a romantic lunch and cream tea and they went to so much trouble with balloons, delicious food and great table decorations. My father and stepmother were so touched and the staff were wonderful.
