Home facilities excellent, woman staff one beautiful and charming. Men staff caring, dedicated and helpful. Food satisfactory. Activities excellent.
Brilliant. Excellent what more can I say. Food, nursing, cheerful and helpful staff.
Accommodated my mother very quickly after an emergency situation. She was made to feel very welcome on arrival and nurses, carers and all other staff were very friendly and helpful throughout my mother's short stay.
As a friend of the resident, I am very happy for her to be at Belmore Lodge, it has taken a while for her to settle, but the staff are so helpful to her. I have had lunch in the upstairs cafe with here and it was a great atmosphere, made by the staff and the food was delicious, hot and tasty. Congratulations, I know where I will book a room!!!
Wonderful home and staff and the care companion.
Excellent in every way. My aunt has been very happy here and her health has improved beyond belief. I would recommend the Belmore Lodge to everyone. I intend to book myself in when the time comes.
Company and the food are excellent. Room services excellent. Enjoyed going out as they provide members trips. Activities excellent. Came for two weeks., extended stay for another week. Will come back again. Very friendly staff.
I have found from setting foot in Belmore Lodge only kindness and warmth - it feels like being part of a big welcoming family.
Respite has turned into residency in a short space of time - at the request of my mother. It is a great relief to her family that Belmore Lodge was able to help just at the moment we needed it.
My sister-in-law was a resident at Belmore Lodge for about ten years. She was very happy there. She called it her five star hotel. The staff were very good to her and she thought a lot of them. We were all pleased with the care and attention she had. My sister-in-law was always clean and well fed. We also loved the food. I would recommend Belmore Lodge to a high standard. Unfortunately it was a shame she died but i still visit.
An excellent care/rest home with good caring staff and facilities. My mother came in for a weeks respite care and her health improved after a week in this care home. It's expensive, but worth paying a little bit extra for a first class care home.
I have had a week of respite, after a cataract operation at Lymington Hospital. The care and attention have been excellent and everyone is so friendly. I shall be back again and maybe bring my sister. The food has been marvellous, I now feel so much better after the respite care. Thank you so much to all the staff I shall miss you all. Happy Easter.
My relative received three and a half years of excellent care at Belmore Lodge. The staff there are friendly, helpful, caring and thoughtful of residents needs. The facilities are clean and well furnished. Relatives can rest easy that their loved one is in good safe hands.
I can not speak highly enough about the wonderful care my mother had at Belmore Lodge. It wasn't easy persuading her to give me a few weeks respite from caring for her myself in my home. But the experience my mother had in this beautiful home was so good and the staff were so caring and attentive. That she is very happy to go again, and she's actually looking forward to her next stay. It's more like a five star hotel.
Excellent, genuine, caring and attention by all staff. Especially the manager. Very well run care home and would not hesitate to recommend it. Unfortunately due to dementia my Godmother has to be transferred to another home, but we will miss visiting her in such a comforting and friendly environment.
Disappointed in present conditions. Some staff are excellent in their attention and care but regrettably they don't have the time to spend with the residents. Not sufficient attention paid to reordering medication and toilet needs etc.. Laundry service is excellent.
‘We were disappointed to receive GS’s review as no previous concerns had been raised by GS. All aspects of the care review have now been discussed and resolved’.
The staff are always happy and very helpful. They also go the 'extra mile' - my mother wanted to see a local art exhibition but is unable to go out without wheelchair support. The staff arranged for her to go to the exhibition which she really enjoyed. I travel a lot for work and would not feel comfortable doing this if I was not happy that my mother was being looked after so well. When she started calling her room 'home' I knew that the home was looking after her so well.
Last month my husband and I were looking at various homes in the area. When we walked into Belmore Lodge it was like "coming home" Everyone was so friendly and big smiles on their faces. I was very impressed that the matron was able to give us a tour of the home immediately, even though no appointment had been made. I was also so impressed that when we came across any residents she called them by name and had a little chat with them all. We didn't feel hurried at all and she answered any questions we had. We knew our 97 years old mother would love it here and glad that there were so many activities and trips out that she could enjoy. We were so glad that when mum eventually came out of hospital after 14 weeks they could offer her a home from home! Thank you so much!
My mother came into the home last week, our first impression: Staff very approachable and friendly. Communal rooms and bedrooms clean and well maintained. Residents all look clean and tidy. Atmosphere warm and friendly.
Mum says that "it does all that is required".
