My mother was placed in Erskine Hall after being transferred from a hospice. My mother’s stay was very short but said everything was wonderful and was receiving excellent care. She said her room was very comfortable, and the staff could have not done anything more to help her. I had dealings with a couple of staff members, who were very helpful to me and my sisters when we came to visit. I would like to thank the person who nursed my mother, nothing was too much trouble for this caring lady. I would like to also thank another nurse who gave my mother such great care. With the current situation, I and my sisters were allowed into her room to say our goodbyes before mum passed away; this was a great comfort to us all. My mums stay was short, but she received excellent care, which made things easier for me and my sisters. Thank you, everyone, at Erskine Hall; I hope you all stay safe and well. I would recommend Erskine Hall; my mother was very happy there.
Thank you for your kind words. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you or your family.
I am completely bedridden and I find the staff willing and cheerful when bathing and dressing me. My room is pleasant and a radio and TV are laid on. Should I feel ill at any time I have a bell pull to contact the staff, who are very cheerful and kind even when putting me into a sling to get from the bed into a wheelchair. I am very glad I came here.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us such kind words.
My husband was in Erskine Hall for about seven weeks. He was treated with great kindness and compassion.
Thank you for trusting us with your husbands care. We really appreciate the kind words.
This care home is a warm, welcoming environment. It's extremely clean. The care assistants work hard, also very much so with most of the duty nurses. Most problems or issues are always sorted to the best of their ability and management are very approachable, kind and caring. Food is good most of the time. Nursing from what I can tell is good. Activities are good and help stimulate the residents. Safety is good. Overall, a very pleasing home.
Thank you for trusting us with your loved one’s care. We really appreciate the kind words.
Both of my parents are currently residing at Erskine Hall, my father in the dementia unit and my mother in the residential unit, both on the ground floor. I cannot recommend Erskine Hall's staff and management highly enough as they have 'moved mountains' in order to help us through very traumatic circumstances in a very short period of time. My mother's been diagnosed with a terminal brain tumour with a short life expectancy and it was her wish to spend her last months with my father, together in the same place and this has all been made possible by the kindness and professionalism shown by the staff. My father, who is bed-bound with Lewy Body Dementia, is treated with kindness and respect and the care they show him cannot be taught to anyone, it's natural. My mother is so happy here and for that, I am eternally grateful as you cannot put a price on how someone will spend the remaining time of their lives. I call all the staff there 'my angels', as that is what they are.
We are glad to help you and your family through such a difficult time. Thank you for the kind comments.
The carers are dedicated to their residents. To them, it is not just a job. Our family are so pleased we chose Erskine Hall for our mum.
We are very happy to hear you can feel at ease with your mother in our care. Thank you for taking the time to leave such lovely comments.
Staff were so caring to my father in his final weeks of life.
Respect and listened to dad’s needs and family too. They are all wonderful.
Thank you for your kind words. We are very saddened about your loss. Please accept our condolences and let us know if there is anything else we can do to help you through such a difficult time.
Well done and my compliments to Bupa and the Erskine Hall team.
Thank you for such a lovely review, David. We are very delighted to hear you enjoyed your time with us and we hope to see you again soon.
However, he was satisfactorily looked after, despite major refurbishment taking place at the time.
Thank you for your review.
On my first visit looking for a care home, I was greeted by very professional staff. This facility did not smell of food or other odours which I had detected at others I had visited. Erskine Hall has and is still undergoing complete refurbishment and yet the staff are amazing as they are still caring in tricky circumstances. Nothing is too much trouble and if anything is requested - it gets done!
Thank you for your kind words, we really appreciate this feedback. We are also glad to hear you can feel at ease with your loved one in our care.
The staff, both caring and administrative are extremely good at welcoming new residents and very flexible and accommodating to ensure residents are as comfortable and happy as possible. Residents, as well as family members, are all made to feel at ease and welcome. We have been very happy with the care/facilities. Thank you.
Thank you for your praise. We are very happy to hear you can feel at ease with your loved one in our care.
My sister was admitted to Erskine Hall in October 2018 and had excellent palliative care right up until her death. She was very well cared for by a kind and considerate staff for whom nothing was too much trouble. They were also very comforting to me when she was unwell. Thank you so much. Also, thank you for attending my sister's funeral and looking after my dog there.

I spent two weeks in Erskine Hall following a hip replacement operation. All the staff were very kind and caring and looked after me extremely well. The food was good and plentiful. By the end of my stay, I was fit to look after myself at home.

My mother's stay was only three months as sadly she died in the middle of December but the care in her final days was first class. The staff were so kind and did their best to keep her comfortable and meet all her needs. It was such a relief that she could end her days being cared for in a home she was safe and so well looked after and where my son and myself were supported at such a difficult time.

My previous Nan was here 6 years ago and from that, I extremely recommend it to anyone. Such a down to earth place. Friendly staff. I have recently started coming again because I have another Nan that is now here. She absolutely loves it here as do all of my family. Food is lovely. Game and fun times are fantastic.

My mother was discharged from hospital after a serious infection with little long-term prospects. The round the clock assiduous care of the whole Erskine team has put her back on her feet in a way that we could never have thought possible. The personalised approach was exceptional.
I'm pleased to hear that your mother has been well looked after in Erskine Hall. Thank you for posting your review.
I find the care all satisfactory and the Carers helpful. The activities are all enjoyed and they try very hard to please everyone. By and large, the home is comfortable and very clean.
Thank you for your review. We are pleased to hear about your positive experience and appreciate your comments about our home. We are thrilled to hear your positive words about our staff and the activities taking place within our home.
