I found the staff to be very helpful. The building and its surroundings were clean and well-maintained. My mother's room was sufficiently large and kept to a temperature suitable for an elderly person. On quibble was the bedside light which while oriented was difficult to switch on and off from over function. When I visited, I was able to order a meal at short notice, so that I could share the table with my mother - the staff were very accommodating when dealing with my requests, and the meal portions were generous, several with a fresh salad. Overall, an impressive facility.

My partner has spent the last four weeks in Hill House after being discharged from the hospital. So far, I cannot fault the care that has been given to him and myself. The food is excellent, considering the amount of residents that are there. I would recommend Hill House to anyone. It's like a very nice four-star to five-star hotel. Cannot remark on activities as my man is bedridden.

My dad was a nursing care resident for 3 weeks. His care was excellent thanks to two staff members in particular and the team. Nothing was ever too much trouble and Dad enjoyed being there. Although food was a little hit and miss, we couldn't have been any happier knowing he was in such safe hands. Thank you Hill House.

Mum is struggling with her new circumstances but is very complimentary about her carers, although the care home does seem short-staffed, and the food is not always hot or of good quality.

I came to this care home apprehensive as to what to expect as I have never used one before. I found the atmosphere generally good and was pleasantly surprised. All the nurses and care staff are very acting and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. All kinds of help were extended to me without hesitation. If I had to use the service of a care home again I would definitely come back to Hill House Care Home.

Since my mother arrived at this care home Hill House Elstree - she has been looked after and cared for to a very high standard. The staff are so responsible and kind. In my mother's experience, nothing is too much trouble. She says that she feels very safe here. There isn't one thing to complain about. We as a family and my mother can only applaud the management and the wonderful care team here!

We are very happy with how our dad has been looked after here.
I had been invited to the Haberdashers tea party with some of the residents at Hill House. The event was very well organised, and the pupils made us very welcome and looked after us throughout the whole visit. It was quite an exercise getting all the residents in and out of the minibus, but the activities officer did a swell job, with much care, compassion and humour. A great afternoon out.
Thank you for leaving your lovely review. We are so pleased to hear you were accommodated so well alongside our residents on what sounds like a fun and accommodating outing. Thank you for choosing Hill House care home for your loved one's stay.
