Hill House provides nursing, residential and short stay care, as well as residential rehabilitation for the young and old. Hill House is a spacious, elegant eighteenth-century building converted to provide residential and nursing care, for long and short term needs. As well as supporting elderly residents, staff welcome those who are 18 and over and living with a physical disability or neurological condition, such as multiple sclerosis, in need of residential care.

Residents can expect a high standard of care in the midst of a friendly community. With each of their cosy bedrooms, residents can enjoy the convenience of an en suite, and there are lovely views across the gardens and surrounding countryside.

There are lots of places to relax, including the choice of six lounges. Residents can cosy up with a book in the library, use the computer room, or enjoy being pampered in the salon.

The large gardens are especially tranquil because they back onto a small area of woodlands. Within the walled space, residents can stroll along the paths, rest under the pergola, or catch-up with loved ones on the patio.

They want residents to settle in quickly and be happy here. That’s why they help them to hold onto as much independence as possible.

There’s also good food, lots to do, and a warm welcome for friends and family whenever they visit.

The team of activity coordinators plan all sorts of interesting things to do, including those who are less mobile. All activities are tailored to each person's likes and abilities too.

The chef prepares a range of delicious foods, including some family favourites and kosher meals.

Very grateful for the care and attention given. My husband enjoyed a 4-hour party, and we were grateful for the way the staff were so kind and for the birthday cake, tea and coffee provided. The room was decorated, and we all had a grand time.

My mother has been a permanent resident here since 9 days ago and is settling in very well. She has a great room with a view over the lovely garden. She said the home has a homely feeling to it and enough room for her personal belongings and small bits of her furniture. The staff are efficient and mostly
very chatty and friendly.
I live in Germany and can now go back to Germany with a good feeling that she will be well cared for.
She is very sociable and enjoys the activities on offer and in this short time, has enjoyed 3 love singers who have come to Hill House.

Love going to the big garden plenty of room for my wheelchair, lovely room and TV. Lots of privacy given to me and always lots of choices especially with food. The staff are excellent very understanding to my needs. Had a very happy stay.

My Granda is in Hill House and every time I visit all the staff are very friendly and welcoming. When I was upset his nurse comforted me and took the time to explain everything. She is exceptional.

My husband is a resident at Hill House and tells me how wonderful he enjoys his meals there. He says it’s more like a restaurant than a care home and the lovely chef comes to see him regularly. Top chef well done for looking after him so well. I don’t know how you feed so many people with all their

My mum has been a resident at Hill House for almost 13 years. The care provided, the choice of activities available I cannot fault. Until mum passed away this month, the love, care and attention received were second to none. Mum did things here and went on visits to so many different places, mum was

My husband seems content at Hill House. The staff are lovely to him and to us when we visit.
We enjoy the activities when it is possible for him to join in. Seeing the tots from the nursery and listening to the choir gave us all a boost yesterday. Keep up the good work and thank you all.

The activities organised at the home are excellent.
We thoroughly enjoyed the summer garden party.
The staff are very friendly and very helpful.
My dad finds it difficult to communicate due to Alzheimers but the staff are very understanding.

My mother-in-law was a resident at Hill House for 13 years. She was happy here, enjoyed the various activities on offer and was cared for by the staff very well. She sadly passed away in July but we have been comforted by the many happy memories shared with the staff and manager.

My mother has been at Hill House for over 5 years and in that time, I have nothing but praise for the staff and the way the home is run. "More like a hotel than a care home" is how I would describe it.
Some 2 years ago, a considerable update was carried out in the rooms with wet room facilities etc.
She was 98 last week and the staff treat her so well with the utmost dignity.
I cannot praise the whole Bupa operation any higher.

Due to stroke, my father was only able to spend a short time here.
Everybody was respectful and courteous to my father's needs. He was most happy and contented with the level of care and service he received.
A special mention to one lady who made my mother and myself so welcome. She was most helpful

I visited my friend who is a resident at Hill House and was overwhelmed of how nice the food is and how polite and welcoming the chef manager is, when he bought me a lovely tray of tea which was presented to an excellent standard. He was so helpful asking how the lunch was and if there’s anything else
he can do for us. My friend as well as other people there saying how excellent the food service is and tasty the food is. Well done Hill House.

From the start to finish, everything has been above our expectations. Warm welcome. Everything explained. No request seems too much. Attention to detail and a feeling of always taking on board our dad's needs, interests or just individual preferences. At a time when both he and we needed some help,
it was provided in abundance and we will always be grateful for the support and care provided. It gave him and us friendship when it was needed most. Thank you.

Wonderful caring nurses and staff. Food was consistently good too. Made my Dad feel very cared for and welcomed. Facilities were always clean and well managed. We are so grateful.
