Thank you every one, I can recommend this rehabilitation and care home highly.
We're delighted to hear that you received excellent care during your rehabilitation stay at Westgate House, and that our team supported you with kindness, respect and compassion throughout.
It's especially lovely to hear your progress in such a short time - arriving unable to walk and leaving...
Following a fall and admission to hospital for 25 weeks I was discharged into the care of Westgate where I learnt to walk, cook, self care etc. In that time I was there (4 weeks) + went from not being able to do anything to being able to function, nearly back to normal. The OT and physio staff were instrumental in this progress and forever grateful to Debs and Caroline. The cares and nursing team were always very kind to me.
We're truly delighted to hear how far you progressed during your time with Westgate following such a long hospital stay. To go from not being able to do anything to being able to walk, cook, and manage your self-care again in just four weeks is an incredible achievement - and you should be very...

We found the care from Westgate toward Bill was amazing. Staff were kind and understanding. Staff maintained Bill's dignity throughout his stay. Staff also looked after us as a family as well with kindness and understanding. Bill had a peaceful, dignified passing thanks to the staff on duty. Special thanks to all 1st Floor staff and management, admin and cleaners.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share such a heartfelt review. We are truly honoured that Bill was in our care and that you felt supported during such an important and emotional time.

We was so happy with my husband's care while he was at Westgate. Each and every member of staff whatever their status showed care and empathy. Physio was very good and the team interactions were made fun while at the same time beneficial to my husband. Tessa on reception and the young lady at weekends were very friendly and welcoming. Management and social care kept me and my husband updated and reassured at all times. A lovely place to be.
Thank you so much for your wonderful feedback. We're truly delighted to hear that your husband received such compassionate care and that our team made his time at Westgate so positive and engaging. It's heartening to know that every member of staff-from our care and physio teams to reception and...
Lovely clean room includes private toilet/wash facilities. Seating for visitors. Kind staff who do not complain when you press the alarm for assistance. Downside when busy periods are inevitable for fast response. Hospital air beds uncomfortable in the point of becoming painful. All chairs too low for taller people. Excellent physio equipment and physiotherapist, hairdresser and allowed to have a short trip out to access needed services. Personal body cleaning done with respect by both male and female carers. Can leave things no fear of being taken. Well managed clothes washing.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your thoughtful feedback. We're delighted to hear that you found your room clean and comfortable, and that our team treated you with kindness and respect. It's also great to know you appreciated our physiotherapy services, hairdresser, and the...
I came to Westgate House for rehabilitation after an operation to repair two broken bones in my ankle. During these eight weeks, my every need has been catered for with only one or two exceptions. I have been treated with great kindness and sympathy; the staff working efficiently and professionally throughout. From the receptionist to the laundry and cleaning staff, to the managers from nurses to the carers, the physiotherapist and her helper, as well as the events organiser, everyone has been a part of the team. A traumatic event has proved to be so rewarding.
Thank you so much for your lovely words. We're so pleased to hear that your time at Westgate House helped you through your recovery and that our team made you feel supported and cared for along the way. It means a lot to know that everyone - from our reception and housekeeping teams to the nurses,...
Wife went in from hosptial after a fall and a blood clot, which left her unable to walk. The physio team were fantastic, giving her plenty of their time. After a few weeks, she was up and walking, all be it with a frame. After being home a few days, she now walks with me, just holding her hand and no frame. This would not have been possible without their patience and kindness.
We're delighted to hear about the progress your wife has made since her stay with us. Our physiotherapy team will be so pleased to know that their patience, care, and support made such a positive difference to her recovery. It's wonderful to hear she is now walking with you at home - what an incredible achievement. We wish you both all the very best for the future.
My brother is cared for very good. He is taken care of with great attention.

Thank you for your recommendation, we truly appreciate you taking the time to leave a review.
Having cared for my wife for nearly 18 months I know what a difficult task your staff have to deal with. I don't think my wife could be in better hands. Your carers and nurses have treated her with the utmost care. The way they have conducted themselves leave nothing to desire. My wife is very fussy eater but has found the food much to her liking .
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience. We are truly honoured to be able to support both you and your wife. It's wonderful to hear that our carers and nurses have provided the level of care and attention that gives you peace of mind. We're also delighted that your wife has...

My experience here. The staff and the people here are all lovely, and the food is very good. I have liked being here. Met some nice other residents and made friends.
Thank you for sharing your experience. We're delighted to hear that you enjoy your time with us. It's wonderful that you've been able to meet other residents and make new friends.
I was welcomed when entering the care home with tea and biscuits, and was most pleased with the room and accessories provided. Most of the nursing staff are happy to help with minor tasks or anything I didn't understand; both female and male staff are always willing to help. I enjoyed the exercise classes, which encouraged us all to try harder. Hairdressers were a great pick-me-up, and having lunch together was good.
Thanks so much for your lovely review - we love caring for you here, you make us smile every day. If we can do anything further, please let us know.
I have found all members of the team at Westgate very professional and supportive with a kind and caring touch. They have made my stay here more pleasant than it would have been in the circumstances.

After an accident I arrived here on a stretcher and am learning after 6 weeks walking. Have had excellent care and treatment from the staff who have been like a second family for the short time. The atmosphere here is so good everything is clean and fresh. I'm happy to recommend this rehabilitation and care home to everyone.
Thank you so much for your kind words. We're thrilled to hear about your progress and glad our team could support you during your recovery. Wishing you continued strength and good health!
