I must admit, I was a little dubious about spending time in a care home not having any experience as to what care homes are all about. And I must admit any fears were washed away once I was here. The room, the staff, the food was definitely up to standard and the staff are a credit to Westgate House Care Centre. Thank you to all who put themselves out to rehabilitate me.

If you are looking for a care home, look no further, as I can fully recommend Westgate House. From the very first day, they have been nothing but helpful, obliging and understanding in difficult times. The facilities are superb compared to other Care Centres visited.

I have been very happy here. The staff and carers are very good. I miss all of them when I go home. There has not been an unhappy moment since I came here on the 11-08-17. We are all one big happy family.

I came to prepare me for life at home after 7 weeks in hospital, this has been achieved.

I arrived needing help to get back on my feet and walking. The support was good and after a few days of walking and exercise, I could manage long corridors and stairs.

It is a basic human right to be able to be toileted. My rehabilitation has been slow and I thank everyone for their efforts.

I have been a resident at Westgate House for a period of around one month and I have found it very much to my liking. The staff are friendly and obliging and always help when the need arises. The accommodation is superb, very light and airy and is kept spick and span. Thank you for a pleasant stay.

Excellent food and staff have been wonderful. My husband is now back on his feet due to all the staff's help in the therapy team with occupational therapy.

Everything is excellent and very friendly and happy always. Made me become independent and enjoyed the breakfast club and the physio.

My sister, brothers and myself were so taken not only by the place itself - but by the warm, friendly and above all else, caring staff. They made us all feel very welcome at whatever time we turned up. No question was too trivial - if I didn't get an answer that day, it was there waiting for me the next. Thank you so very much for everything.

The home and staff are lovely.

I found the care given here first class. The staff were very kind and attentive at all times, nothing is too much trouble. No problems at all though they were very busy and the attention was available as soon as possible. Accommodation good, cleanliness maintained. Rehab activities and exercises very good. A reassuring experience.
