Springfield Nursing Home

Springfield are providing excellent care to my father. All of the staff work very hard to provide this level of care and do it in a dedicated and professional manner and in excellent spirit. The food provided is good and the staff offer flexibility to tailor meals to his needs and likes. He enjoys the activities that are arranged during the day so he can meet with and chat to the other residents. Whilst he is concerned at the overall cost of the care, he feels safe and well looked after.

I cannot recommend your establishment highly enough. I have been made to feel at home whilst being cared for with great care by everyone at Springfield and am well on the way to recovery. All services gel together well.

The whole team at Springfield gave me the great care and support that I needed to get back on my feet again. For this, I will be eternally grateful. I was treated with respect and treated like a family member and friend, more than just a "resident". Again, I say thank you.

The care at Springfield is excellent, from the management, household, maintenance man, entertainment and most of all the care staff. Mum is happy there and very well looked after by all. I can leave and feel Mum is safe and well. If I could give six stars I would.

Springfield is an efficiently-run establishment. Without exception, the staff are dedicated, hardworking, caring and permanently cheerful. There is a great camaraderie and teamwork here, which reflects in their work. Nothing is too much trouble and help is always at hand, even individual food preferences are met by the kitchen staff. I cannot find any fault with Springfield, which I regard as a top notch care home and which has restored me to health, courtesy of the physiotherapy also.

Excellent care given by all staff. Food excellent. A very happy staff and room kept tidy each day. I would certainly recommend Springfield to anyone.

Overall my stay was good. Morning wake up call too late on most days, hot breakfast finished. As a vegetarian my food left a lot to be desired, often cold. Care was too rushed and shoddy.

I had been in the hospital for a few weeks and was transferred to Springfield Nursing Home on the 6th of March for rehab! I spent two weeks there and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for care. The staff, medical and others were caring, cheerful and most helpful at all times.

Wonderful experience. Such a happy atmosphere. Nothing is too much trouble. Always a smile. Care is fantastic, always so warm, helpful and kind.

Wards cannot describe the treatment and courtesy that I have received over the last 5 or 6 six weeks. All the staff have been so attentive and caring that none could complain about the slightest thing. Thank you all so much. You are all so marvellous.

On the whole, I have had a very enjoyable experience during my stay! I had no idea what to expect but was very, very pleasantly surprised. Generally, all facilities were first class, although I should stress that from a personal view, I did not feel that the food was always up to standard. Cheaper options were used with an aftertaste. Food was not always hot, and I did not feel that there was always given a good choice, even though jacket potatoes and omelettes were other daily options.

Rehab and residential care all work as a team. I really enjoyed the exercise class that was led by the activity coordinator and rehab staff; they worked well together, and this was well attended for a new class. Rehab residents and permanent residents are all treated equally.

The staff in this nursing home were the most amazing team my mum ever had. Looking after her in her final days, they worked efficiently and to good standards. They were very pleasant, friendly and lovely people who will never be forgotten.
